Well, if the extemist Muslims and Zionist Jews are going with you, it will most likely be a much more peaceful, productive and beautiful place.

Yes you do. YOu receive their distaste for your behavior and false claims. But you'll never admit that's your own fault.

I wouldn't know.
Awwww! Ain't you just adorable with your oft-recycled stock replies! While your constant anger and obsessive contempt for all things human is entertaining to watch, it really isn't healthy. You should work on that.

Translation: I'm a follower of Jesus, but I don't follow Jesus.
Translation of translation: the "follower" of Jesus is not actually a follower of Jesus. She just has her own personal Jesus.
And that's what folks need to see.
As I said, you're doing me a favor.
Yup. From something I once posted:

"In the final analysis, it is impossible to know with any certainty who Jesus was.

The canonical gospels are not necessarily more reliable in this regard than the Gnostic gospels or other apocryphal texts, and all of these documents give us better insight into those who wrote and relied on them than into the historical Jesus.

Similarly, modern scholarship in this area often tells us more about the scholar than his subject, especially with the passage of time. From that temporal distance, we usually see the scholarís zeitgeist imprinted on the Jesus he is searching for, as well as his personal idea of who Jesus should be rather than who Jesus was. And likewise, when we search for Jesus ourselves, we often find more of what we hope to find than what is really there.

In some respects, this may account for the success of Christianity over the last two millennia. At its heart is a very illusive personage that believers and nonbelievers alike can mold to meet their needs. They can look into Jesusí eyes and see their own reflection."

It's not god's word, fool.

And if you've eaten shellfish or worn cotton and wool at the same time, your not following the Bible either.

OK. That was dumb.

<quoted text>Hi, Skombolis, good to hear from you. I know you came to Christ on these threads. I notice you are using a different Bible "perversion". I wasted many years using those texts. The King James Authorized is the best, especially for memorization. When the the Dead Sea scrolls were discovered, they matched word for word with the King James.(book of Isaiah).
Hmm, make up your own version of reality much?

In addition to all of the errors of translation and transcription that entered the texts over the years (including some deliberate changes to the texts) the KJV includes some deliberate mistranslations to make it fit James' own prejudices. The book of Isaiah was written in Hebrew, but everything in the KJV was translated into English from Greek, and even then the Greek text was rather poorly translated.

Or do you really think that the Song of Solomon intended to praise the voice of turtles?

SoS 2:12 The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land;
