If you ever want to know what Paul was actually talking about, you know I'll always be here for you, Clownie.

But don't worry, it'll be Platonic, I promise.

Another good analogy. You're getting really good at this.

Everybody has skeletons in the closet. Well, in my case I can't keep them in the closet. Some of them have the bent to preach on street corners and other bad habits.

Wherever believers are an influence for the gospel God is pleased.(CP Mt 25:20-23; Lu 19:11-19). The gospel however, is a double-edged sword. To those who reject it, it means death - they will be judged by it; to those who accept it, it means life (CP 2Cor 2:15-16

I finished that Frontline piece. Really nice. Only a few quibbles. For example, unless I missed something, they had a clip of Pagels urging that Mark's gospel originally ended at 16:8.

Everyone knows 16:9-19 is a late addition. But Metzger in his commentary on the Greek New Testament, if I remember correctly, notes that the majority position is that the original ending was lost and the minority view is that it was intended to end rather oddly at 16:8. If time permitted only one view to be covered, it probably should have been the majority view.

But maybe I am misremembering either Pagels' clip, Metzger's position, or both.

Regardless, really good stuff.

<quoted text>Thanks for the tip. I'm known by some as 'the soup lady'. I make soup all winter and share it. I had a neighbor once who had 9 children at home. She always was so thankful for a big pot of soup. It didn't matter what kind I took her, they always ate it all.
That is really nice of you to help them like that. Thank you for helping them.
I never thought of doing pea soup in a pressure cooker, though. Do you have a recipe you'd like to share by t-mail?
I'm Italian, cooking is my passion, well one of them :p

You need to make sure you follow this correctly or the peas can foam up and clog the pressure cooker. By coating the peas with oil or butter you will prevent this. Also make sure you don't use too much water (never more than half way). Takes only 10 minutes to cook. I'll post the details to you later.
