Paris, France. A recent auction held by Bonham's at Le Grand PAlais fetched a whopping 280K for a Harley Davidson motorcycle signed by the Pope.
In my opinion, I don't think it is fair for the auction house, and the general public to benefit from St. Francis's signature.
It is said that the proceeds will go to benefit a soup kitchen in Rome. of which being among the wealthiest countries in he world should have homelessness.

What is your take on this issue?

This was just a devout faithful Roman Catholic donating to the church and cared little for the bike. It was a donation more than a sale.

The bike itself was a donation from Harley.
