Bible is true, for atheists, they are going to just have to deal with it.

The bible is a whole collection of contradictory myths, half forgotten history and a lot of wishful thinking

Maybe I should make this more clear, Jesus had been proven, because he was a real person and I got this from a scientist

Which Jesus?
The Jesus born in 4BC or the Jesus born in 6AD?
Ten year discrepancy?

The Jesus whose family fled to Egypt to escape Herod's killing of the infants (The infant killing being fiction anyway) or the Jesus who was presented on the Temple steps eight days (the purification period) after his birth

Speak for yourself because you either never knew about those contradictions or you cannot answer them.

You show your own ignorance and bigotry by resorting to abuse instead of debate.

The Bible has an overall message that God is supreme and we must obey him or else. Now, that's the same way we treat our own children. U know, "do what I say or ya gonna get it". Some parts of the Bible contain facts about man's history and his relationship to the Most High. Some parts are about wisdom and understanding. Some are about how to live and eat well and so on. Then there are those parts that make U wonder "why is that in there"?! We can't take the Bible in it's entirety as a literal work. The reader must decide on their own what makes sense about what is being read. We know that the world is bound by certain laws of physics that can't be broken completely so alot of things mentioned in the Bible are outside of these laws so one must take into account what action is being made and if the laws of physics should apply. EXAMPLE: Jesus turned water into wine in merely an instant. From what we know about wine making and the fermentation process and aside from that the laws of physics by which we on Earth are bound buy, was it possible for common H2O to be instantly transformed to wine with not one grape being crushed and set out to ferment ??? That's just one example out of dozens. So it depends on how U interpret the Bible as far as determining if it is a lie or not. I personally believe that salvation lies in the overall message love and peace that is found in the Bible.

Why should the God of the Bible be any better or more believable than any of the ancient gods - Thor, Mars, Kali etc?

The God of the OT is a merciless killer who casually commands his followers to indulge in murder, rape and plunder, exterminating all in their path.

Not my type at all.

Thanks.
I'm relieved to know that you don't care about me because you actually need all your caring for yourself.

If you are so upset why don't you say something constructive in response to my earlier comments which were taken directly from the New Testament although I suspect that you do not even know what authors I referred to or how I arrived at my conclusion.
