One should note that not only Sahara has paid to Sebi enough amounts which is much higher than outstanding liabilities of two companies, the fact also remains in the whole affair Sahara is genuinely concerned for investors.

The Supreme Court is soon expected to hear a review petition by the Sahara group. I genuinely feel Sahara will b able to make its point clear regarding the payment to the investors

The review of court papers, opinions given by former judges and orders of some of the cases that dealt with similar cases suggest the core of the dispute. They bring about the fact that such cases have occurred earlier too yet not a single investor has got back one rupee but Sahara is genuinely concerned about investors.

In India more than 10 lacks unemployed youth to maintain their family honestly. Their are not a single non payment claim in Sahara India. So why SEBI went to kill Sahara India ? In India there are various type of black money. I request to Govt. Authority Please attack them. Unnecessary don't disturb to Sahara India.

A Dirty game is being played by SEBI. Just because you are the regulator you cannot be a dictator. SEBI should understand the concern and integrity of SAHARA that playing tactics. The Head of SEBI or the officer inchange should be asked to quit, and SC should give direction to this wrong actions by SEBI.

I have been a regular investor of sahara India Pariwar for the last 25 years, and the company has never disappointed me. Sebi's action against company seems to be personal enemity and unfortunate for a large number of investors. Sebi donot know how Sahara's filed workers collect money from investors where banks and other financial institutions have never approached. This act of SEBI is really disgraceful for a regulator. I think SEBI has decided to destroy indian financial system. Earlier it has destroyed the mutual fund industry by banning the entry load, has tried to destroy insurance industry by interfering on ULIP issue and now with Sahara India.

In 2009, when Sahara Prime City, one of the group companies approached Sebi to go public, the regulator suddenly asked SIRECL and SHICL to refund all the OFCD money to investors. That began the battle.

Sahara has already redeemed significant number of OFCD Holders. Thus any further payments to SEBI would amount to double payment.

As pers the news discussion it seems that the total liability of Sahara is not likely to exceed Rs. 5120 Crores and this amount has already been deposited with SEBI. Then what they can do..
