If you're "not on Topix much anymore", HOW did you hear the news?
Some of these comments are getting deeper than a fertilizer bin at a community Bull Stall.
I still communicate with several people outside of Topix.

Like so many others I haven't been on Topix for a long time. I read of Heather's passing today and I am shock and sad. Many prayers for her family ... especially her children.

RIP <3

never knew or spoke to her, but just thought you should all know that cannabis cures cancer. as does the sour sop fruit. scientific fact. don't believe me? look it up and research it yourselves. it's disgusting that due to profiteering of pharma corporations natural no-side-effects cures like this (stronger than chemo) are kept from the public.

nevermind what you may or may not think of cannabis as a "drug", it is one of the most medicinally beneficial plants on this planet. like i said, look into it..

hopefully the information in this post will help save a life.

one love <3

Thank goodness for that!

I'd hate to think you fit the typical profile of a room temperature IQ, sycophantic Topix addict that only stops from posting long enough to climb out of your mother's basement to get another bowl of cereal.

I'm glad you "still communicate with several people outside of Topix."
There may still be a chance for you in real life.

Was that her real name? I always liked Heather aka Roadrunner.

Her wonderful tolerance lives on, in other people.

We'll leave the sewer dwelling sycophant Topix trolling to you. Why can't you just let folks grieve over a friend?

Trying to be kind this morning...

Maybe he does not know those feelings. Maybe he has not lost a friend. Maybe he has not had a friend in order to know that feeling of loss.

I think that before one can feel empathy for another one must first experience those emotions in their own life.

Oh...okay...maybe he enjoys that sewer dwelling.

Lol...you're a good one Annie...that's why we love you.:-)

Just makes me sad that someone wants to trash a thread where a group of friends came to say goodbye to someone. Regardless of his experience with that type of situation one has to wonder what motivates someone to just pop on a thread like this and cast aspersions on a situation they know nothing about.

Aaaaw...me you too!

In a way this ties in with a post that I left this morning at WSJLM.

Loving your neighbor as you love yourself.

I would suspect that the poster only loves the attention that it brings him.

I would go so far to say that this poster behaves similarly in his offline life as he does here...it is all about him...his wants...his needs...what brings him pleasure. I doubt seriously that he puts anyone else above himself.

As I said in my original post on this thread...I did not really know Roadrunner that well...I do know that she was like and respected by many. I have too have lost some online friends that I cared about...I know that pain is as real and long-lasting as if those friends had of been offline friends.

I feel sadness for those that can not fathom a close friendship formed by merely words. Those that can not see someone's heart and spirit through what they share by the written word.

I don't Pharae...what really saddens me is...there are people in this world in "offline time" that is just like this poster. Greedy and selfish and only think of themselves.

Maybe the best tribute that we can pay Roadrunner and all those other online friends that we have lost is to make sure that we do not look in to the abyss of some here and become just like this poster.

Like a lot of you, I gave up Topix a long time ago. Just wanted to leave my condolences and carefully back out again. Rest well, Heather. You are missed.

My sincere thanks to all who have posted here. I'm sure Heather knows every word written, and appreciates it all.

Yes, it is very easy to make friends with people whom you never see face to face. Attachments can become very deep, sometimes closer than "real" family.

Especially with people like Heather and I, who cannot get out much to socialize, our Internet family becomes our lifeline to the world.

Again, thanks.
With Love, Laughter, Blessings, and Peace,
