I heard on the evening news that this was the result of arson, I hope they capture whoever is responsible soon. I'm wondering if this was a hate crime?

There were 4 children and 1 adult and apparently there was an explosion before the fire. How could anyone harbor this much hatred?
The fire superintendent said it was suspicious! So you are probably right! We live in a sick world! unfortunately!

two comments...#1 the place is a death trap, there was no way to escape. The doors could not be busted open. there were no sprinklers, and the windows were too high to allow a jump. Are there no fire exists, or emergency escapes, escape ladders? not even on the premise so that someone could help? This should be addresses to prevent future suffering.
#2 We should not be so quick to blame because our attention may be focused in the wrong direction,
I pray that the investigators are able to solve this horrible crime.

I would like to say that this family will be greatly missed, a hole is left in the hearts of those of us who shared with and loved them. The nights will be filled with nightmares and the pain will leaves scars that only God will be able to soften. But for all of you Christians out there here's a consolation...thanks to the mercy and Glory of our Lord, Jesus Christ. 6 people confessed Christ and were saved at the foot of the tree where our friends were being remembered. Thank you Adela, Edita, benedita, stephan, and Ashley, you have left your mark. In Christ, God bless you brethren

Simply looking for a safe place to raise her children somewhere on God's Earth, cost the Etibako family their lives. The torture they endured in the Congo with the ongoing violence and corruption is enough for anyone to withstand.
Mrs Etibako's first thought was for the safety of her children.
Why? Why? Why?. What could be so terrible that they had to burn alive. Was this a Hate Crime? Will someone please own up. We'll miss you greatly. Your deaths are a sad loss to our society as you were hardworking, happy and a wonderful family.
To the surviving Etibakos, my prayers are with you. I pray for Bolingos recovery. The deceased are SAFE IN THE ARMS OF OUR LORD.
Bless you all and keep you safe. May God embrace you'll with his comfort.
