I'm a "wife" and I say hell no! I speak from experience. It's nothing but trouble for your marriage.

I personally stay on the defensive about other women, because I am a woman and I know how I think (I may catch hell for this one) but we sometimes tend to have alterior motives with men, married or not. Some men are just not like that and that's cool, so it's just according to your comfort level with what she does. I think this is more of a question for the guys to answer...sorry. I will say, my fiance has a problem with my male friends. I can talk to them a lot easier and I get along with them much better than women, and they aren't trying to sleep with my man behind my back.

Come on Mike. Why would she commit adultery just becasue she has males friends...so men do think like women!!! And they said we were different.

ABSOLUTELY,a married women should have guy friends!! Just because they are male doesn't mean she wants to have sex with them.My best friends in the whole world happen to be men I have grown up with like brothers since we were kids.If my husband ever forced me to make a choice I think I'd walk away from him, but he will never do that.As for my husband he has friends that are women that he grew up with too,I've met his ex girlfriends,it doesn't bother me.It all boils down to friendship and trust if you and your spouse have that then there is no need to worry.

I know what you mean,I never had friends that were women because I don't feel very comfortable around women and never have.I get the overwhelming feeling that they are judging me, or ready to put a knife in my back when I turn around.I think being around men you can be yourself much easier. As for women around my husband, I'm not worried because I know where he stands with me.There have never been any secrets between us and if one of them tried anything,my husband will confide in me.

I know where mine stands too, don't get me wrong, but he is very nice and naive at times. An ex called him about a year and a half ago. I told him keep it up, she has something up her sleeve. He persisted to tell me no until she wanted to travel 2 hrs to meet up with him. We are trifling and relentless

I agree, women can be sneaky and malicious thats why I personally distance myself from them. I find much more dishonesty in the women I know, more then the men and your right, men are somewhat naieve to that.I'm not saying all women are like that, but their are far too many that are.
