<quoted text>My brother had a similar experience. He had an angel come dressed as an insurance agent. He said he came to sell insurance to my sister, but he only came to heal my brother. Only God could have told him that my brother was sick. The next day when they went to his alleged office,on his card, no office existed. The phone number which my sister had called him was found to never have been in service.
So an insurance salesman came to your sisters house, but you believe is was an angel. I presume your brother illness went away, he got better. Your sister made a mistake and went to the wrong address, or the insurance agent changed address and didn't update his business card,m or changed his phone number and didn't update his card, on and on it goes, there is always a reasonable explanation before one automatically defers to magic.

People recover from illnesses all the time, it's well documented in medical journals, its called self healing, the bodies ability to heal itself. Now if to want to say this self-healing is the work of God, then you have to provide proof that this exactly what happened, otherwise it's just your belief.

So to summarize your supposed miracle:

1.) Your brother was sick, but got well......not a miracle.

2.) An insurance agent came to your sister house selling insurance, you thought because your brother got well, this person was an angel..........not very convincing.

3.) The address and phone number on the business card were wrong......Change of address and phone number and no new business cards made up yet.

Now, since I've explained your bogus miracle, don't you feel incredibly stupid and gullible?

When I hear these stories I know they are true. I was watching the recount of the 3 women who were stranded for three days in 121 degree heat in Death Valley. They ran out of gas, car stopped,no gas. The next morning after praying, knowing they had to get out of the heat, they tried to car and it started. Based on the recount they must have driven for 30 miles, no gas. They went back to an abandoned mail box, which had a note in it. They followed the directions and found an abandoned trailer under trees, where they remained until they were miraculous found.
Remember, their rescue began at the point of prayer.
Wow. Interesting story.

<quoted text>No God does not. You need verifiable evidence of evolution, got any? If so you'd be the first person in 2000 years to have it. So what is your evidence for evolution? You do not believe in God. Some one told you so? Or does it just feel comfortable to think you are as smart as a monkey?
You claim God is real, this a positive claim, you have made an assertion that God is real, if you want anyone to believe you, then you must provide evidence, if you don't or you can't then God is simply something you imagine. I'm sorry you never educated yourself, I can't help someone who is willfully ignorant. Evolution is simply a fact. 99% of all scientists world-wide accept evolution as a fact. Evolution simply means change over time. Change in a species over many generations. Science museums are full of verifiable evidence for evolution, you really need to vista one someday. The reason doctors don't like to give excessive amount of antibiotics is that bacteria become resident over time, they EVOLVE to become resistant. Farmers have to constantly change the insecticides they use because insect EVOLVE and become resistant to the insecticide. There you have it, evolution night before your eyes. Whales are great examples of evolution, a land dwelling mammal that evolved to live in an aquatic environment. I can't help you if you don't educate yourself. Stupid is forever!!!!!

Ok, I'll solve this bogus miracle also, just to make you feel incredible stupid. The car stopped because of something called vapor lock, it can happen in excessive heat. the gas gage may have read empty so they thought they has run out out of gas. With the car stopped, the vapor lock in the gas tank went away so the car started. Most cars, even when the gas gage registers empty still has enough gas to go 25 or 30 more miles. The note in the mail box was not meant for them, but was for someone else giving them directions to a trailer. An old note as the people had most likely moved. So there is an explanation for your miracle, now don't you feel incredibly stupid and gullible???

BTW, the women were incredibly stupid for driving in death valley with out checking their gas gage. If they had died, it would have been their stupidity that killed them not death Valley.

<quoted text>Like I said, you are invention of ancient primitive monkeys. Based on your stupidity and ignorance the monkey wanted a better existence and then evolved into humans eventually.
Do you visit your ancestors in the zoo or do you go on safaris? Is it possible that you are stupid and have no clue about anything. Did you even go to school? Clearly, you do not even know how to formulate one of the many theories regarding evolution.
Can you give biblical evidence for evolution? Can you find the verses of scripture that prove your version of evolution. Are you really this stupid or did you skip most of your school classes?
If you're going to use the bible as a source lets remember that the bible states that the world is flat and is suspend on pillars, and that the sun and all the other planets revolve around the earth. It also says there is a dome covering the earth, with the stars scatter on this dome, and that door open in this dome to allow rain to fall. Your bible also endorses slavery. Yep, you God gives instructions on how one may keep slaves, how to mark them as your property, by driving a spike though the ear and how badly you may beat them. God also commands the rape of young virgins, passes laws that require a rape victim to marry her rapist. God is also responsible for the murder of little babies, and he destroyed thousands of unborn fetuses. Now do you really want to use this evil and immoral book as part of your argument?

BTW, you are partially right, human share a common ancestry with apes, we did not evolve directly from monkeys. You really should stop listening to creationist bullshit and read some real science.

I've explained all of these bogus miracles, this is just like trying to explain to a child were the sun goes at night. dealing with you people is just like dealing with children. Ever notice how gullible children are, they will believe anything simply because they have no frame of reference, no other possibilities. They see the sun go down at night, and I tell them the sun is burrowing into the earth for a good nights sleep, they believe me, just like you children who can only see what you want to see to validate your mythical God thing. Even after a simple explanation is given to you, you hold on to your childish beliefs. And no, the sun doesn't actually burrow into the earth at night, just in case you believed it did. But then again maybe you do, given how unbelievably gullible you are.

I'll even bet I could sell you some real estate if I told you God asked me to contact you. I'm an angel from God and he wants me to sell you some land in Florida so you can build a church for him. Why don't each of you send me 1,000 dollars, that cheap for land right? Send me the money and I'll send you the deed to the property. I'll be waiting. Also God told me to tell you that is you send me $100 dollars I'll see to mitt that if you ever become sick, I'll ask God to cure you. I'll be waiting for this also.

<quoted text>I think it so funny that you atheist try to pretend to be smart. I bet if 100 Christians saw that post "If not God, then why" they would know exactly what it means. If you do not have cognitive reasoning skills and understanding when it comes to God, His essence and all that is, then perhaps you should try a more humble approach, which one would find among 1st graders.
Do you even know the basis of the question "WHY"?
Yes I'm sure 100 brainwashed and delusional Christians would know, however I'm not as gullible as a Christian, so I need to deal with reality. I don't assume something to be true, I need evidence, I don't rely on Faith to show me the pathway to truth. Faith is NOT a pathway to truth, Faith is gullibility. Faith is the permission Theists give to each other when no evidence is available. You rely on what you have been told, you have failed to investigate to discover if what you have been told is factual. You lack and amount of skepticism, and buy into whatever you have been told. You use the bible as a source for everything, even though it is filled with immorality, evil, gratuitous violence, and cruelty beyond belief. Your religion is discussing, and you lack of objective reasoning astonishing. If all of mankind followed your mindset we would still be burning witches and living in caves banging two stones together ands asking for God to bring more game. Why aren't you totally embarrassed at your childish, and educated ways?

Let me put it this way, there is the same evidence for God as there is for werewolves. Could there be an advanced powerful intelligence somewhere in the cosmos, it is very possible. Is it necessary to affix the name God to it, with all the baggage that goes with the name? No. Would not early man consider you a God if you showed up with a watch, computer, an automobile, a cell phone, and a flat screen TV? The knowledge that a 5 years possess would seem Godlike to them. People have a nasty tendency to affix God to anything they can't understand. I do believe that most people believe in God out of fear. Fear of the dark and death, and fear of NOT having someone watching over them and protecting them. Even if that watching and protecting is only imagined.

Your miracles may have been "documented" in some worthless Christian rag, or posted on a Christard web site, but if a real miracle had happened then it would have been front page news in every news paper throughout the world. Mainstream science would have had a field day with it, the details would have appeared in countless scientific journals and periodicals. Funny isn't it, the only people who are aware of these so called miracles are brainwashed delusional Christians. Rational people KNOW that perceived miracles fall under a number of heading.

1.) Self-healing, the bodies ability to heal itself is well documented in medical science journals.

2.) Luck..being at the right place at the right time.

3.) A fortunate coincident that happened in your favor.

There has NEVER EVER been a miracles that can hold up under the scrutiny of science.'

Not long ago, someone saw the image of Jesus on a hospital window, thousand showed up and knelt in prayer. "It's a miracle from God" they shouted. "This is a sign from God that the second coming of Jesus Christ is near" People wept, wept with joy. They chanted and sang, and hugs one another......What exactly was this Divine Miracle?....turns out it was condensation between two pains of glass, and a normal person would have been hard pressed to see the image of Jesus. Mist, condensation in the general outline of a human head. Even after knowing it was only condensation, these poor slobs kept on insisting it was the image of Jesus and a Divine message. I guess when you have been completely brainwashed and want something bad enough, it will seem very real to you. Kind of scary for us normal folks.

There are NO such things as miracles, grow the f--k up will ya.

long time ago, when only the rich could afford tv, the poor people like me could only watch tv outside of the rich man's house. he would put the tv near his window and all of us poor people would watch Popeye The Sailorman, etc through his window. he had tv, but I did not remember considering as God.
