So instead of just "Judging" my post, how about stating why you disagree with me?

take a look at your children, or grandchildren. Would you like to see them sucked up in a vacuum until the life goes out of them.

If a really young girl was raped and the pregnancy could end her life then I would have to agree with that, but other than that I just very firmly believe that all lives should get a chance.

Your very thoughts on this subject appears to be an exact mirror image of my own, asw I couldn't have expressed it better myself!

As usual, you try to shift the focus from your inept God to some other issue, since you cannot defend an absent God. I do not know a single soul who believes abortion is a good thing. I personally believe that an abortion is a medical procedure that at times is deemed necessary for a variety of possible reasons. A tumor is living tissue. I would not criticize anyone for electing to have a tumor removed. If your God creates embryos, he also creates tumors. If God creates all things for a purpose, do you condemn cancer patients who have a tumor removed ?? Christians claim that God does not make any mistakes. If God is offended by an abortion, he would also be offended by the removal of a tumor, another of his reputed creations. Just as it is sometimes necessary to remove a tumor from the body, it is sometimes necessary to remove a zygote, an embryo or a fetus from a woman's body. I absolutely believe that the choice to have an abortion is solely the right of the woman who is pregnant. Her decision may be guided by a doctor, or a mate, or a friend, if and only if she so chooses. Beyond that, it is absolutely no one else's business what medical choices she makes regarding her body and her life. During the time when Jesus reputedly walked this earth, a woman was often condemned for a variety of violations of "laws" or social norms. An unmarried woman who became pregnant may have been able to conceal the fact for five months or more. Once she began to "show" she was apt to be judged by her peers and doomed to be stoned to death. There was no effort to save the fetus. They willingly killed the fetus as well as the mother, often with self-righteous zeal. This was the accepted social behavior, the right and just act of a society. If the child was born out of wedlock, it was deemed a bastard and often shunned and slighted throughout its life. Abortion has been a part of life since life began. Jesus never spoke out against abortion. Again, I do not know anyone who believes abortion is a good thing. Abortion is sometimes a necessary thing. Abortion is a medical procedure, an ethical and legal choice available to each and every woman. I have known a number of women who have had abortions. For each and every one it was perhaps the most difficult, the most heart wrenching determination they ever had to make. And, almost always, in retrospect, one of the wisest decision of their life. peace micah

Kill them babies, kill them one by one Kill them babies, see what God has done Kill them babies, kill them every one Kill the little babies, kill for Christ the son. Those abortions meet God's need for blood Kill those babies, satisfy your Lord Kill those babies, Kill them everyone Kill the little babies, glorify God's son. God craves blood each and every day Christian God wants his flock to pay Sacrifice your baby to satisfy God's need Sacrifice your baby, the abortion creed

There's nothing wrong with abortion. Personally, I find sauteed fetuses sprinkled with garlic salt to be quite delicious. I think the stem cells are what give that extra "zest".

And to be quite honest, I am not an advocate of abortion. I just wanted to rile the fundies up, and it appears I succeeded. Anyone got a toothpick?
