I say getting burned has to be the most painful. I mean c'mon...during 9/11, watchin people fall from the twin towers rather than burn to death oughta tell ya something.

not much of a choice, falling a thousand feet would seem to be less physically painfull - but mentally...as the ground gets closer and closer and you know it is going to hurt as your body is converted from solid to liquid?

What an awful thread...that being said...Burning would have to be the most painful, Drowning the worst mentally and getting crushed would depend on how fas it happened...if it were slow than that might be the most painful...but if its fast then Burning would be the worst.

burned. You typically dont die immediately but rather sucumb to infection in the hospital several days later.

well all those options would suck but burning, stoning, or being crushed would take the longest and hurt the worst i think.

I agree, mentally it's disturbing, but as you hit the ground from 1000ft, I think it would be too instaneous to feel anything when you hit the ground. I think it's a better choice than buring to death.

Fire can be instaneous also. Many of the 911 people were just incinerated without being aware of the pain(I imagine). So speed plays a part in the painfulness of death - Tortured to death being the most painful and prolonged due to the intention of making it so.

That depends on how fast they were incinerated....it's one thing if they were on the plane that exploded, and another if they were trapped in the building. Big difference. I still say burning is by far the most painful way to go. I consider it to be torture.

I agree with you girl..getting burned had to be the worst. I mean and most people live like that in pain until they die!:( Look at all the soliers as well that have been burned during the war...they must be in so much pain...I just don't want to think about it!
