IANS, Curious, and all of those who are the same evil, lying, deceptive, snakes/serpents:

You are still evil, lying, deceptive snakes/serpents. No amount of your lies, bullying, denigrating, or BS will change that. Everyone here knows it, even your fellow unbelievers. If any of them don't know it, it is because they are clueless and blind to your BS. I don't need to argue my case any further. I proved all I needed to to open people's eyes to you all.

To my fellow believers and those who are not liars:

God exists. The proof is all around us. If you can't connect with him, it is because you are not trying to/ignoring his calling. It is your loss.

Not that you wouldn't be a catch. You are smart, funny, kind, and just. If you have any character flaws, they don't manifest on Topix.

But you are correct. I am happily married and don't stray or even flirt. I know that's what Mrs. Aint wants, and I am happy to give it to her..

And thanks for the kind words.
Good man.

Thanks be to you, also.

So much for "christian morals".

Wrong. The accuracy or inaccuracy of a particular description of a god does not tell you whether the god exists.
If you were described inaccurately to someone, you would still exist.
This is a common bit of trickery that is neither logical nor factual.
When you make a claim for something, then define that something in logical contradictions, that thing that you claimed cannot exist.

If a something exists, it's not a something defined in logical contradictions. It's something else entirely.

Wow, thanks. The was very helpful.

Her claims are all over the place, and generally divorced from reality wherever it has been possible to decide. Like nano and many others, they just expect to be taken at their word when they claim to remember something that they won't or can't produce a link to.

I think most fair, impartial, and competent thinkers would reject a claim that, were it true, could have been shown to be with a link, but wasn't.

<quoted text>Bullshirt. It is a reminder of racist, seditious, traitorous losers who try to semantically change history.
Actually you harshness to the South is undeserved, it was the North that initiated slavery , it was the North that legalized slavery. It was the South that slavery became profitable , and because of this, the South became powerful. The North was envious of this and tried to impose unfair trade tariffs. There was 150 years of slavery before it was abolished anywhere.
The constitution called for an end to slavery and a Southerner the Governor of Virginia's word that called for it, a slave owner himself ...
Thomas Jefferson's words were..

"All men are created equal"

It took another 80 years for slavery to become unpopular , and congress did not help by passing the Three-Fifths Clause, and The Fugitive Slave Act.
What we had was a Nation divided on the subject, so as to the South being racist, seditious and traitorous , you are wrong. It was the whole country that was racist, seditious and traitorous. Slowly it changed but some refused and it led to war
But you are two-faced in accusation the whole country is to blame, not just the south.

I watched a WONDEFUL movie,“God is Not Dead”, one thing I noticed in the movie, the so called “atheist” much like on this board, fought relentlessly to prove God is dead or as they put it, never existed. Yet, the profound truth of the argument came to light. A true atheist just does not care and they do not argue about it. Why? Because you have to care to argue and they just do not believe and they could care less.
The atheist on this board fit the later description. They are so called atheists. These so called atheist are just angry at God and they DO care. Now, how can you be angry at something that does not exist?
They had a loved one pass away and they blame God for the death.
They have sexual issues and they cannot understand why God allows this and they blame God.
A Christian made them feel unaccepted. Possible for being homosexual.
They may have been raped or tortured or have a child raped or tortures and they blame God... The reason goes on and on.
They more than likely were Christians at one time and they actually hate God and want His removal for the pain they suffered.
I am here to tell you and ALL the atheist who post her, you cannot be angry at something that is not real. You guys display way too much angry in these post to call yourself an atheist..
You continue to be a tool.

God doesn't exist, but Christianity does. It has had a profound impact on the world, and I would like to see that come to an end. We don't deserve to suffer under the influence of a barbaric Bronze Age myth.

I don't oppose your religion as an atheist. I do it as a humanist. I care about the well being of humans, and I see your religion as a hindrance to progress when it's not a damaging force in peoples lives.

You cannot steal from someone something they claimed they did not own. But a push will get you a shove, by any culture's standards.

There is no scientific evidence to concur your theory.. Now is there?
Atheists do not believe in deities, so are extremely unlikely to hate any. If you're going to claim that atheists hate "God", you need to provide quotes from them saying as much, in clear language, AND, they would need to agree with your assessment.

Yep, the tribes fought each other constantly all over the continent, the Mexicans made raids all the time. They (Mexicans), also, consider the U.S.A. as territory stolen from "them". If the Europeans hadn't ever shown up someone else like other Asian subsets would have. These "natives" would still have been fighting their neighbors and living nomadic lifestyles in teepees, instead of becoming wealthy on tax-exempt casinos and government freebies.

Instead of being relatively civilized it would be like most of the men of Dallas getting together every three months to beat tomtoms and raid and pillage Austin.

I'm not feeling terribly sorry for the modern day *natives* of the U.S.

I am pretty sure, Let there be light goes right along with Nobel prize physics winner Steven Weinberg's (an atheist professor) disruption of the universe being brought forth in an intense explosion in three minutes where 98% of the matter was produced...Yep, then and we had a universe. Something caused a mass explosion with an intense flash of light that created a universe. Hmm... A biblical author in Gen 1:3 actually said.. "let there be light" and he got it right over 5000 years ago and an atheist scientist basically copied what he said, but took God out...
I'm starting to feel a presence. There's a definite presence in the room. I think I'm beginning to channel the spirit of someone....someone you knew when you were younger... yes... yes.... this person was definitely someone you knew when you were younger. Did you know someone who has passed away? Good... good... I'm sensing something now... about this person you once knew... they were male... a man... there was a man that you knew who is now dead. He's telling me... something... he said that you and he had many conversations... yes... yes... this was no stranger. This was a man you once knew, and talked to, more than once, who is now dead. It's all coming together now... yes... yes... The energy is very masculine... yes... I think you know who I'm talking to now... he wishes he could talk to you again... yes... indeed. Is there anything you would like to say to him, before I lose the connection?

Was that a joke or a serious attempt?

This takes me back to my Compare and Contrast lessons from first grade.

Apples and oranges are both fruits that grow on trees. Apples have a thin skin, while oranges have a slightly thicker skin.

Pizza and couches can both be delivered to your house. Pizzas are often topped with cheese while couches rarely are.

Radios and door locks can both be found in most cars. Radios receive radio transmissions while door locks usually receive keys.
