Public prayer is extremely off putting. Why do these Christians have to flaunt their religious orientations and practices in public? I sure don't want to see it when eating.I like it that someone praying next to you bothers you. It proves that God is real, you hopeless, worried, defiant, and desperate atheist.
I don't really care what consenting adults do behind closed doors, but why do these people have to flaunt their religious orientation in public and shove it down everybody's throat?
Some of them are flaming Christian, walking around with bibles showing and crucifixes dangling in plain view. Is that some kind of secret signal so that you can identify one another and hook up?
Some of you have bumper stickers that say things like, "Warning. I break for rapture." I don't even want to know what that is. Keep it to yourselves.
And I wish that they would warn us on TV when a show contains religion. I don't mind the nudity, violence, coarse language or adult situations, but religion offends me. There should be a warning.
I once ran into two Christians praying together behind the bushes in a public park - in broad daylight, and when I was with my kids. I was horrified. Get a room! I didn't want them seeing that. I covered their eyes and hurried them along.
