Brainwashed death-denying coward Al Garcia, you're living proof that Gawdunit is the greatest source of ignorance in the history of the human race.
Now, Now, Al is one of the most civilized and intelligent people on this thread, theists or atheist.

If all Christians were like him this thread would be much more pleasant and enlightening.

<quoted text>Wait, tried to kill your turtle? What? And what's "atm"?

You don't know if a Christian youngster wrote that about Hawking, you just don't. I'll dismiss that as opinion.
It happens that I do but you are entitled to your opinion, which as always, is the blatant denial of a very real problem.

My turtle lives in the Great Barrier Reef and atm is short for at the moment.

Incidentally, ATM is the name for the machine that spits out money.

I cannot deny a problem I do not know exists not can I read your mind and verify what you're saying. That leaves me empty and stuck to opinion, no?

Ah. At the moment, I figured you weren't talking about an Automated Teller Machine lol.

So how is your gov't trying to kill your turtle?

I'm not a Catholic so I don't accept the authority of Paul.
Jesus said every human is worthy of unconditional love.
Did you know that Jesus is 6th In a poll of who the Catholics worship and pray to ?
St. Paul is number one.
How fkn crazy is that!

I'm trying to show you the problem, you're perfectly capable of observing your surroundings and googling more information. That's why I wrote that it was a snippet.

Reading my mind is not a necessity and it would only frustrate you to try.

By trying to destroy the Great Barrier Reef of course.

I can give you some info on that if you like.

Legal protections from a variety of things that are currently endangering the reef and the lifeforms that depend on it are being blocked by politicians and lobbyists..

Correct, you are not, at least not without being a hypocrite.
<quoted text>
Do you know what your bible says about unbelievers? It sounds anawful lot like what you just accused us of:
[1] "The fool says in his heart,'There is no God.' They are corrupt, their deeds are vile; there is no one who does good" - Psalm 14:1
[2]“Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?”- 2 Corinthians 6:14
What do you think about that?
What do you think I should think of it?
Incorrect. No one is perfect and you don't, as an unbeliever, have any rights to tell believers what they should and should not do or believe. Frankly, it isn't your business. I don't care what you do, as an unbeliever. Whatever rules of life or moral code an unbeliever lives by, I still wouldn't care whether you followed it or not. You need to stop quoting Bible to me and saying that I am a hypocrite if I do not follow what it says, since I have told you numerous times that I do not believe the Bible is the true and accurate word of God/Creator. You fail at your debate with me every time you do and even for those who believe in the Bible, it still doesn't make it your business if they do or do not follow what their religion/faith says. Leave each person to his/her own. Stop lumping everyone together. As I said before, you all think that you can do whatever you want, but we cannot, because we should follow what you think we should follow, even if that isn't what we believe. You lump us all together as to what you think we are.

I don't need to think anything of it. It does not affect my life unless I let it or want it to. I think you should not let it bother you. If you do not believe in the Bible, then it should not have an affect on your life at all. Maybe you should just ignore it, if it is not relevant to your life.

And the very same thing could be said of believers but that never stops them threatening hell and damnation because unbelievers will not buy into their wet dreams of a bronze age myth and a terrorist crucified for his crimes against the state.

Biochem was my undergraduate major, a 4 year program.
Medical school followed, and biochemistry was one of first year classes comprising the study of normal man. The others, if you're interested, were gross anatomy (what you can see with the unaided eye), physiology, cytology and histology (microscopic anatomy), embryology, genetics, immunology, biochemistry, and behavioral sciences.
Then it was pathology (the ways disease manifests under a microscope), and bugs and drugs (medical microbiology and pharmacology). By then, we were ready to study the diagnosis and therapeutics of the various diseases. I have always felt privileged to have been taught those things.
<quoted text>
hank you. Yes, we are all quite proud of the team. I don't know if I'll ever have the right to call it "our team" no matter how long I live here, but my affection for this country is sincere, and I root for its success.
I know many people who did the biochemistry degree as well, due to the few credits necessary to pass it, hence my interest. Mostly on here, your posts are of an educational nature to most atheists; often do you cite sources and introduce new thoughts to the public, be it something they want to hear (meaning us), or not (meaning the fundies) It is very easy to forget that you are one seriously qualified dude. Respect, with a capital R

Mexico fought like tigers. I always believe in teaching people it is not about winning or losing: one's goal should be to walk off the field with your head held high. Mexico's boys can be very proud of their effort. It is hard for a football fundie to explain to a football layman just how good this Dutch team is. Their pedigree spans back more than half a century. Catcher would remember players like Johan Cruyff, as well the the concept of "total football" they had introduced. Currently, their team is awash with top names from top clubs, from Manchester United, to Real Madrid, to AC Milan and Bayern Munchen. Coached by Louis van Gaal, newly appointed Manchester United manager. This Dutch side is football royalty. Pushing them to the limit like your boys did... That took some courage.

Curious. You don't believe Heaven or Hell even exists so why would you care if someone threatened you with either?

To me, that's kind of like someone threatening me to be good or else Santa won't bring me a gift - an empty threat.

Why does it bother you?
