You refuse to understand what we call "magic" really is. Obviously, you get your idea of "magic" from old "Betwitched" reruns.
Obviously, you get your idea of "magic" from your buybull, Chick tracts and your church.
Obviously, you get your idea of "magic" from old Disney cartoons.

One of you is lying...or totally uninformed. If it's your bible and not you, Then that will place your deity in a very precarious position, seeing that the writings are "inspired" by him, huh?

What I can't understand is all of the Human Sacrifices basically from the beginning, to actually think that them Ancient Cultures was doing that, out of Delusion for some God, to me is more crazy than the story.
That's what's wrong with faith, and why it's so popular. It can lead people anywhere, and they tend to want to stay wherever it takes them.

you can see the progression of worship, from the start of symbolism plum through to Egyptian Hieroglyph. The supernatural is differentiated from the nonexistent there, just because we haven't experienced it, doesn't mean they didn't. There is more evidence that supports it than not, just because of what the Ancient Cultures did put down..You can't refute it, all you can do is disagree with it..
I don't consider unsupported claims to be evidence for the thing being claimed.

All we know and are capable of knowing is natural.

The rest is imaginary.

Exchanging the word science for magic is not a subtle difference in meaning. Well, unless one is a really ignorant creationist that thinks that magic and science is the same thing, and his deity actually performed that "magic".

The word Magic is applied as it is because it was not of Gods command.( Invoke) They performed the Acts as if, and not on the command. Nothing would be of magic from God.

Science can *only* deal with what is natural.
Supernaturalism is by definition not natural.
Science can neither undermine nor strengthen supernaturalism.
Should we value supernatural ideas?

If you look at everything we've been able to accomplish following methodological naturalism and the scientific method, and the utter lack of accomplishments and costly failures of superstition, it is abundantly clear that supernatural ideas are of no value to seekers of truth, except in the way that fantasies and fictions sometimes are. To treat them as anything else is a mistake.
