Good thinking. The Christians don't know the effect that Christian atheophobia has had on our lives, and I doubt that they care.
But we know, and we resent the church for it, a fact that manifests in the strong negativity that the Christians experience from us. Combine that with their selfish sense of privilege and the whiny victimhood - the War on Christmas thing comes to mind first - and you have a recipe for contempt.
[Special thanks to RR for his help in researching the following examples of assorted unbelievers' reactions to Christians and Christianity

No. It's not directly or indirectly about beliefs, it's all about actions.
Many atheist posters here have expressed their beliefs:

I'm not saying that any one of them should be killed for what they believe. However, if anyone of them were to act on those beliefs then that would make it a completely different story.
What I've been referring to is terrorism and terrorists. If the Taliban wants to sit in their caves and draw attack plans in the dirt, I really don't care and no one else should either. But as soon as they strap a bomb to their back and head into a London subway tunnel and kill dozens of innocent people, it's no longer a belief-it's now become an action.
That murderous action requires retribution, requires vengeance, but most importantly requires justice.
Agreed. That is the action needed for the entirety of the abrahamic religious cult(s)....it should be forbidden and removed from the world society.

I don't know why you think terrorists can only be religious people.
Under the Soviet Union's direction of anti-religious campaigns, the League of Militant Atheists killed over 21 million Russian Orthodox Christians.
The "People's Republic of Albania" had one goal; to eradicate religion from their territory. They banned religious literature, confiscated religious buildings, and religious people were tried, tortured, and executed.
The Khmer Rouge tried to eradicate religion, too. They killed nearly 2 million of their own citizens.
Terrorism isn't about religion or prayer, it's about power and control.
I never said it was about Religion RR, it's about a Belief..Not all Beliefs are Religious in Nature.. The Religion of Truth has committed some of the most Heinous crimes against peoples, and had nothing to do with Religion.

There Is No Greater Religion Than Truth..

We may have to compromise on both counts, I'm boycotting marriage and am rather possessive of my toothbrush.
I'm confident we can work something out.
Come to think of it, marrying a woman might be even better than boycotting it, hm.
If you two get married, can you adopt me ?

I would love to have two great moms.

Well an educated guess tells me this is how it all happened:
When a man and woman love each other, they get excited.
When they get excited they get naked.
When they get naked, the man usually inserts his penis into the woman's vagina.
When the man is stimulated enough from thrusting, sperm are ejaculated into the woman.
When the sperm are ejaculated, they swim towards the egg in the woman's uterus.
When the sperm reaches the egg, fertilization happens and the woman becomes PREGNANT.
When the woman becomes pregnant, a new life starts inside of her. Called a FETUS.
When the fetus matures after 9 month gestation period, the woman gives birth to a baby.
When the baby is born, the child is identified as either male or female.
When the little boy or girl grows up, they too will likely get married to yet another person.
When they get married to another person, they will be known as "the spouse of________."
Are ya with me so far or do I need to S-L-O-W D-O-W-N for you?
In ancient Hebrew culture, having a daughter was viewed as a curse.
In ancient Hebrew culture, the births of females usually weren't recorded.
In ancient Hebrew culture, the birth of a boy was cause for joy and celebration.
In ancient Hebrew culture the birth of a boy was recorded to keep track of ancestry and rights.
Are you still with me here?
My nephew (let's call him "Dylan") is the son of "John" and "Molly"
Dylan likes to go play paintball.
One day, "Dylan" went to play paintball.
Dylan's girlfriend "Ashley" went with him.
Where did "Ashley" come from?
What say you?

You and your religion occupy a very low plane of existence if this is really the best you expect of your position in the ALL.
Perhaps you should seek a higher paradigm.

I say I'm certain I know more about sexual intercourse than you do.

I say I'm certain I know more about the reproductive system than you do.
(Tell us how Mary got pregnant with the jesus character at 14 years of age again?)

You spelled FOETUS incorrectly.

Your story is very boring.

You're always a d!ck and you still didn't answer my question.

So, after Cain was banished for murdering his brother, he somehow found a wife, far from the only woman in existence?

Where did Cain's wife come from?

How do you know she came from Adam and Eve?

Is there a bible passage you can direct me to that says that?

Did Adam and Eve go with Cain when he was banished?

Birds and bees can't reproduce with each other, silly christian.

We are well that you change your stories when you realize that your first renditions produce revulsion.

I answered your question.

Who says Eve was the only woman in existence? Why are you ASSuming that?

Cain was banished. His wife went with him into banishment. This means she wasn't very far away after all now was she?

Your reading comprehension skills suck.

The problem isn't about how the account is written, but how you're reading it and your dismal understanding of early writing styles and ancient cultures.

You "war on terrorism" is a crock, people are being murdered over poppy fields and oil.

No, I think that he should be put down, too.

My stance on ultra-hard punishments is only limited to the crime, not the criminal. Rapists, terrorists, murders and child molesters should all be executed like you would execute that dog for biting the mailman.
