ROTFLMFAO!

You are 100% clueless of your own bible.

Who ever taught you that should be spanked and sent to their room.

Wasn't whining at all dude.

Just stating facts.

Do you want to argue/debate about it.:-)

Are you asking if there would be better symbols for Christianity?

Asking for context of why God is so bloodthirsty and punitive misses the point IMHO. It's like trying to apologize for slavery, misogyny, or homophobia by saying there is a rational context for it. There isn't any.

LOL! Of course it was. As I've said before, if Jesus had been born in the last century you'd see his followers going around with little gold electric chairs around their necks.

And probably just for the intent to destroy it.
Talk about suckers being born every minute.
Yep, the Horsemen live fine on those donations made by eager, new converts; luxury airfare, hotels, meals and probably a few hookers here and there. Not to mention paying for Krisskunt's fare from [all the way from Russia] to show off (at one of their "atheist fairs") the *pointless* fact that there is actually one, single atheist on the planet that isn't dogass ugly. Apparently, some were hoping to get lucky for the first time in their life.
What a hoot!
Why would Dawkin's want to destroy Einsteins letter when it backs up his position??

By the way, Dawkins is independently wealthy from his writings.

The electric chair isn't a torture device either.

The crucifix is as much a torture device as a guillotine or an electric chair.

There's a difference between a torture device and an execution device.

Based on your comments about this, you're totally ignorant of the symbolism of the cross to Christians.

I've asked you once to stop arguing from ignorance. Once a theory has been confirmed and reconfirmed over and over again, we get to the point that it will be treated as a "fact" for pretty much all contexts and purposes!
Rivs doesn't want to throw in the other cent.

Some say that ignorance sometimes could be bliss, therefore, he's just satisfied with his single cent.

His letter doesn't "back up" any "position", either way. Dawkins just doesn't want any rational conversation concerning Jesus' existence to be seen by the public.

You don't seriously believe he would use his own money that irresponsibly, do you? Not that he doesn't consider foundation assets as his to use as he pleases. He's playing a bunch of losers to validate his own agenda.

You're correct that Jesus was not observed by us. But Jesus isn't a scientific subject. And yes almost all of the earliest accounts of Jesus were written within 30 years after His crucifixion.
Why do you think Adam and Eve didn't exist?
What is your concept or understanding of "original sin?"
You've "proven" that Jesus didn't exist? Would you care to explain how you've proven that?
Circumstantial evidence is still credible when correctly analyzed and applied to the issue at hand.
The gas chamber is no longer used in the United States.
I see you're into 'literalism'

I was using my example as a counterpoint to what you claimed about scientific evidence. I do not claim to have 'proven' Jesus did not exist....just that with no Adam and Eve/original sin there was no need for Him/Jesus to redeem our 'sins' So what was Jesus for if we had no sin?

The lack of a historical Adam and Eve, as written in the Bible, is predicated on the FACTS of paleoanthropolical and DNA evidence. For the last million+ years there have been pre-humans and/or real humans (c.200,000 ya) roaming the earth, and there is not one bit of evidence that humanity has followed the fictional story in the Bible....none.

You do know this.....don't you?
There's one problem with Google searches. It will often give you search results by popularity, and not by what is correct. The first result is there because it gets the most traffic. People often think that just because it gets the most traffic that it's the authoritative source for the information they're looking for. Not always true.

Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good...to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues and to still another the interpretation of tongues All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he distributes them to each one, just as he determines.
these manifestations of the spirit are supernatural and christians are to use them.
the gift of distinguishing between spirits enables the believer to see who is lying. we are taught to discern and to test spirits
Would you like to test my spirit to see if I'm lying?

This could be your opportunity to try to fulfill your one of your quoted prophesies.

Please, test me!
