That's pretty cut and dry, for an opinion.

I have no proof to show, that doesn't mean there's no proof.
You have now said you have no proof.(Haven't you? Kinda reads that way.)
You have excellent reading capabilities.
We're sitting across a table from one another.
There's a box on the table.
I tell you there are coffee grounds in the box.
Based on that information alone...
Do said coffee grounds exist?
You don't know.
If we get rid of the box, there'd be no question about the coffee grounds' existence... it'd be sitting on the table between us. The coffee grounds would be proof of the coffee grounds.
Get rid of the box.
Hypothetical scenario.

If the coffee's in the no and you remove the box, the coffee goes with it.

There's still no proof of coffee.

That must mean coffee doesn't exist.
Prove there's a god.
Told ya you'd PTAG me again....

Making fun of your belief. Figured as much, because you would rather do this, than find the real facts.
Why do you dismiss that the word "scripture" was applied to only certain texts by men and not by "God"?
Why do you believe fallible men?
Because I choose to believe that.

Why do you choose to believe gnostic texts are inspired by God?

I use an odd color scheme with my desktop/browser >>> light text on a dark background.

Either Topix has change a few things with page formatting... or my laptop's being a jackass. Dark on darker.

Wassy's apt to have a conniption.

Lemme fix it before that happens.

I can't prove God - fact.
That doesn't mean proof doesn't exist - fact.
What's so difficult about that?

I'm not failing to recognize that you have no proof of your god.

I'll prove that I'm not failing to recognize that.

Prove there's a god.

You can't.

You have no proof.

Oh - so you rely on your own decisions instead of "God's"?

What is the name of your religion you practice?
RiversideRedneck wrote:

Why do you choose to believe gnostic texts are inspired by God?
Because "He" said, like you have - "all scripture".

You still didn't answer why you don't believe "God". All you have is said what you freely chose.

Why don't you believe "God"?

Yes you did. Stop avoiding to answer honestly.

FACT: you make a lot of unfounded claims as true. Not one has been proven as such.

FACT: I question you on your claim and then you divert and charge it back to me to respond.

FACT: You would ratehr be dishonest than admit your own failings and shortcomings - especially when it comes to "God".

You aren't anymore a so-called "Christian" than I am.

But you will probably lie about that too.

By the way - nice dodge on your claim that Helen Keller "heard and saw" the evidence of god.

I have no proof to show, that doesn't mean there's no proof.
You used to say that you have to actually show me; that you can't do so across the internet... as if a trip to Riverside was required.

You have no proof.

The evidence that you have no proof is mounts with every post you make.
You have excellent reading capabilities.
You are showing improvement. We still have a ways to go.
Hypothetical scenario.

If I say there are coffee grounds present on the table, and there are coffee grounds present on the table... then there would be proof confirming my assertion about the coffee grounds' presence on the table.

The box is your attempt at hiding the fact that you have no proof of your god's existence.

The evidence says it's all in your head.

The evidence is your consistent lack of proof.
Told ya you'd PTAG me again....
What else do you think I (Hukt; the one that claims there's no proof of a god) am going to discuss with you (RR; the one that claims possession of proof of a god) on a thread titled "Prove there's a god"?

You don't have any proof.

Yes - I agree - all means everything - including the non-canonical texts.
Why don't you accept these as "God" inspired, when it clearly says all scripture.
Are you going to continue to not believe "God" inspired those texts, even after you said that they are included?
No sir.

"Scripture", as in the sacred writings of Christianity found in the Bible.

Not the supposed Christian writings found in Gnosticism.
