Lol
Christianity is not free; its price was your soul and your humanity.

I actually feel sorry for you, because you willingly became a waste of potential.

What a crying shame.

Only your church does.

The rest of the Christian churches believe that "God" did that and Jesus came later.

Obviously you've been going to the WRONG church....

Try again.

Yes they are.

Or maybe you can provide an example of a non-physical appearance?

A rock is more valuable, and serves more purpose, than your god of paper and ink. Go pray to your imaginary dead jew on a stick.

I saw a WWII documentary on TCM today, shot by Frank Capra (yeah, that one) which showed all these American school kids standing outside and reciting the Flag Salute:
"I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America; and to the Republic, for which it stands; one Nation, indivisible, with Liberty and Justice for all." No "under God" was spoken.
<quoted text>
That was *THE ORIGINAL* flag salute.

No we're not. The ORIGINAL flag salute demonstrated that quite clearly.

And I'm supposed to take the word of a pathological Topix christian liar over what I saw in a documentary? I don't think so.

I was born into the tradition, not as a believer. I'm not surprised that you can't tell the difference between the two.

I was free to accept it or reject it; I opted in favor of it. It appeals to the romantic in me.

And you know what? There is no threat of eternal damnation for those who choose not to follow the Old Ways, like there is with your religion.

What kind of a religion is it that needs to use fear to gain converts? That's pretty fucked up.

If that was the case being physical is nothing but a misadventure in futility making physicality pointless and useless.

We have physical truths trying to eliminate each other in dumb battles of false dominance when they are only assuring both their mutual destruction to nothingness.

This "god" should have kept things at the spiritual plane.

That is sick that dying is the only way to get "spiritual truth".

What kind of mess has the HomoSapien species gotten itself into with the whole story of "human sacrifice"? It's gotten to the point where we are ABOUT to sacrifice ourselves in something called "Armageddon".

Then I guess we could all be "spiritual": after all, according to YOUR belief, death IS better than this life anyway....

And once again you need to lie for your cause. How christian.

Show me where I'm "forcing" my religion on you.

When you talk christianity, you are demanding that people accept and believe it; when I talk of the Old Ways, I merely explain what I do. How is that "forcing?"

Please excuse me, it is hard to have a good conversation with when someone us being Cynical and ridged.

I do believe we wee meant to live in Physical bliss, however sin made it so that can not happen. God's reasons for making us physical and not just spirits is beyond me. I do believe God shares truth in many ways, but often not something as easy as talking down the street. Instead we find him through experience and the willingness to calm our minds and listen.

I know heaven is meant to be a paradise, but the Bible does say 'Heaven on Earth'. He is building his kingdom on earth, but in such a way that people have a hard time or choose not to understand.
