Based on the various pre-200 AD accounts. I am of the opinion that Jesus survived the crucifixion but died about a month later from complications. That would be the unbiased, non-religious interpretation that we would accept on other ancient texts.
That makes sense. Some people who were crucified lived for up to a week on there. I shudder to think about it.:-(

Excruciating comes from the Latin for "hurts like being crucified".

But 7 of 9, hubba, hubba!
Ya, I was disappointed that they wrote in that humans will eventually evolve into the Sleestak. Pretty dumb.

I think Voyager got better when they added in Seven. Not just for the spectacular eye candy, but it seemed the writing got way better.

Oh and I never liked the Kazon. They looked like Klingon bums with poop hair lol.

Very good, Kaitlin. Allah is the Arabic word for God, as used by both Muslims AND Christians.

In any case talking about a soul is not strange from a man who believed eveything he could imagine was real. Clearly, he could imagine a soul.
<quoted text>
The concepts of "god" and "soul" are not necessarily interdependent.
So?

Atheism is the denial if evidence for deities.

Where's the evidence for souls?

Why would a supposed atheist believe he has a soul?

Never mind about the make up stories of funnymentalist apologists’ sites, try real evidence.

Because there is actually physical evidence for Julius Caesar existence in carvings, coinage, roman archives, his writings, contemporary witnesses. I own several coins from the time of Caesar and I realise that it was a long time ago but even the Romans were not up to putting fictitious characters on the coins of the realm that held there empire together.

Whereas there is actually no evidence for Jesus Christ other than a book with no provenance that was written 300+ years after his supposed death.

Perfect response!
The bible is full stuff that either makes no sense or disagrees with itself.
Some of the bible sounds weird.
Some of it sounds very nice and wonderful.
The problem is that too many people wrote the different books and they didn't always agree with each other on meanings (they probably never even considered the problem of contradicting each other actually).
I am pretty sure that is why there are so many different Christian denominations - each one focusing on the pieces of the story they prefer.
Cheers

A mistranslation is perfect?
Lol
The KJV is a medieval translation, full of errors.
It's no wonder atheists love it so much.
That verse reads as such:
I form the light and create darkness, I bring prosperity and create disaster; I, the Lord, do all these things.
What makes you assume it is a mistranslation?

What makes you think that it is not your babble that is a mistranslation?

Current babbles are interpretations of the KJV, only the words have been changed to molly coddle the sensibilities of certain godbots. It’s not my fault that people like you choose to interpret rather than read what was originally written.

Try the 1599 Geneva version, predates the KJV - I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things

Oh yes and it predates whatever version you are quoting from
