Jealous? Of what? Being a "violence-free" home? Why do I doubt that?
The only violence that came to my home was in the form of three christians who broke in, two Thanksgivings ago.
They're paying for their religiously-inspired crimes.
Breaking and entering and attempted murder is not religiously inspired.

You are a pig, Alan. All take and no give.
I am extremely generous donating to all kinds of needy organizations. I often donate food to soup kitchens, women's shelters etc. I just don't want the Government taking my money, keeping 90% of it for themselves and giving just 10% to the causes I believe in. As always the Government is in the way, it costs too much and does too little.

Yes this is a civilization, although not very civilized most of the time, a civilization of individuals who each has his own idea about how we should live our lives. The only thing that makes sense is to mind our own business and let others live free.

Every time the government takes your money and wastes 90% of it on things you do not approve of it....

OOPS my movie is on.

It is important for Christians to see where their Bible fails them. They waltz in here all convinced of its inerrancy so I show them the errors, and clearly they are stupid for not knowing the errors exist. They are Christians because they are ignorant of the Bible.
How do you like it when someone tells you you are going to hell because you do not believe the silly stories their mother told them?
Yeah their ministers don't dare bring up the inconsistencies to be found in their bible.

I once read a quote by a minister in a protestant church who had gone to a famous theological school...the gist of it was: "If you graduate and still believed in God...then you weren't paying attention."

Lol

First of all, Isis wasn't a virgin, as your fellow Christian hater claimed.

Second, Horus was supposedly born during the month of Khoiak (Oct/Nov).

You'd be wise to do your own research before blindly believing him.

The Mithras cult in Roman times was very widespread, and there is quite a bit of archaeological remains showing it existed. But nothing of its beliefs. It paralleled Christianity. It didn't show up until Christianity or very shortly after. It existed, but very little of it really exists today. So Christianity isn't the only religion not fully accounted for from that time.

Notice how Romanized the artwork is.

"The Mithraic Mysteries were a mystery religion practiced in the Roman Empire from about the 1st to 4th centuries AD.

Modern scholarship generally accepts the astrology-based, neo-platonic cult to have been a typically Roman invention, a product of the Roman Imperial religious world,[1] from the archaeological evidence likely founded in Rome itself, is and perhaps initially based on some pseudoepigraphic literature written under the name of "Zoroaster"—and so making a claim to have written by the Iranian prophet Zoroaster. "

Something happened back then. We just don't know for sure what.
