In 2013, spontaneous generation is not fact.
In 0013, spontaneous generation considered a fact.
And it was taught as fact for nearly 2,000 years.
That's religious thinking yes, they still teach creationism is a fact too.

In 2013, your god is not a fact.

In 0013, your god was not a fact.

Yet, you claim to have proof it exists.

How do you know Aristotle's SG wasn't a fact back then.

Was it a fact back then?

Is it a fact now?

Nope!

Because it doesn't need correction.
It isn't just your religion, RR.

There are others.

They can't all be correct.

They can all be wrong.

Anyway...

You prefer a corrected version of the bible.

How long will that one last? A few dozen years? A few hundred?

Will future theologians look back and laugh at their idiot predecessors?

So when the liquid's all gone there's a vacuum in the glass?
When the liquid's gone the liquid's gone.

I said nothing of vacuum.

I said that one's glass is never actually full of anything.

That's all I said.

Provide evidence that dreams only exist in your head.
(First you'll have to prove that they exist at all)
Go.
My dreams only exist in my head.

I have no proof they exist because they exist only in my head.

You have no proof your god exists because it exists only in your head.

First you have to prove it exists at all.

That's what you're telling me.

<quoted text>So your suggestion is that we gain omnipotence before we teach anything? Nothing is taught as complete fact anyway - the entire point of a scientific career is to add to, refine, or otherwise change the body of knowledge.
I know that. I'm not saying anything like that.

I'm saying that what was fact was never fact at all.

Who's to say what facts are out there today are actually facts?

"The glass is half full" is just a figure of speech, I'm not speaking literally when I say that my glass is always full cuz when it's half full of liquid it's still half full of air, too.

If you were in school in 368 AD, you would've been taught Aristotle's theory and you would've believed it to be true.

Even though it wasn't.

No one! That's the point you keep missing. For all we know, every tenet of modern science is flat out wrong, as unlikely as that may be. The point is, this is what seems to be right right now, and the way you learn and increase knowledge is by passing it down and letting each succeeding generation improve it.

No, that's not what I'm telling you.

I'm telling you that once you've experienced God, scientific proof or approval from other people means nothing, just like once you've experienced a dream. You KNOW it's real even though you can't prove it.

Your Messiah complex is showing.
These atheists should be on you like shit on stink.
What did Jesus do on the earth?

Allegedly, God came to the earth in the flesh to save the world.

Did he succeed? Do we still have rape and murder and Dave Nelson? Do we still have poverty, greed, sickness and starvation?

Did Jesus fail.

Yes.

If God can't clean up the mess he created here on the earth what hope is there for mankind to fix itself?

There is still no more evidence of creationism after 2,000 years as there was for it, in the year 1. But much of it has been proven wrong, yet you still cling to your religious thinking the same as a man did in the year one. Spontaneous generation was a religious concept in the year one. It was especially popular to those who believe in a resurrection as the resurrection is spontaneous generation. Life springing from dead meat.

Gonna help you out. It wasn't addressed to you, so you probably dismissed it as something insignificant. Unlike you, I don't miss much. I'm humble.
The post about solar wind and ions. It's the physical link to your "essences" sent from the sun.
This is a tough crowd, Bubba. You need that physics stuff to give it some "reality". Your imagination requires some mechanism.
Unlike yourself I do not demand people accept what I post with out question, I would wish that people would challenge me and try my experiments so they can experience for themselves what is real and what is illusion.

I tried to engage you in a discussion about the lack of harmony in the human triune brain and you would have nothing to do with it.

I asked you how you knew when you had to go to the bathroom. Do you remember? That is a serious question and the answer you would get would help you discover something about yourself that would surprise you. One must start at the beginning, what you call the Kingdom of Heaven is within. The real last frontier is for human beings to discover what it is they are and what their possibilities are.

Not by being told by someone, but by going through the process of discovery that leads to personal experience and real knowledge that no one can take from you.

We either believe you or not. I ask you to verify what I say. To prove to yourself it is true or false, only then do you know for sure.

Scientific proof isn't required. Approval from others means nothing.

Your god exists only in your head.

You have no proof it exists.

That's what you're telling me.

You're asking me to analyze your god claim with dreams I never claimed I can prove in the first place.

I have no proof.

You have no proof.

Again... that IS what you're telling me.
