What about evil spirits?
"it came to pass, when the evil spirit from God was upon Saul, that David took an harp, and played with his hand: so Saul was refreshed, and was well, and the evil spirit departed from him" (1 Sam. 16:23).
"it came to pass on the morrow, that the evil spirit from God came upon Saul...." (1 Sam. 18:10).
"the evil spirit from the Lord was upon Saul...." (1 Sam. 19:9).
"Saul's servants said unto him, Behold now, an evil spirit from God troubles thee" (1 Sam. 16:15).
"the spirit of the Lord departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the Lord troubles him" (1 Sam. 16:14).
"...evil came down from the Lord unto the gate of Jerusalem" (Micah 1:12).
"Thus saith the Lord, Behold I will raise up evil against thee out of thine own house, and I will take thy wives before thine eyes, and give them unto thy neighbor, and he shall lie with thy wives in the sight of this sun. For thou did it secretly: but I will do this thing before all Israel, and before the sun" (2 Sam. 12:11-12).
"God sent an evil spirit between Abimelech and the men of Shechem...." (Judges 9:23).

What, you don't like Reverend Alan using your bible against itself?

Thomas Paine did the same thing in his "Age of Reason." I'll bet you never read that one, either. The bible is its own greatest weapon *against* itlself.

God "answers" prayers. Sometimes his answer is "no."

What's the difference between a "no" and a failure to answer?

Self-Contradictions of the Bible that Christians Say Don’t Exist:
Genealogy of Jesus:
Matthew 1:1-16 Twenty-eight generations from King David to Jesus
Luke 3: 23-31 Forty-three generations from King David to Jesus
Ugh. You skeptics make me laugh. Yes, they are taken out of context. This has been answered for over a thousand years, yet you still ask.

"First, Matthew reported the lineage of Christ only back to Abraham; Luke traced it all the way back to Adam. Second, Matthew used the expression “begat;” Luke used the expression “son of,” which results in his list being a complete reversal of Matthew’s. Third, the two genealogical lines parallel each other from Abraham to David. Fourth, beginning with David, Matthew traced the paternal line of descent through Solomon; Luke traced the maternal line through Solomon’s brother, Nathan."

If you were God, HELL yes, I'd blame you.

You would know that I'd shoot myself, and even with that knowledge, you were sufficiently irresponsible to give me the gun.

<quoted text>
The part of the brain that houses the emotions can be weighed and measured. Emotions can not exist of themselves or absent flesh and blood. There is no such thing as the supernatural. Spirituality is what to you? And the soul, many ancient teachings have the biosphere as a place where man can create a soul for himself. After he first creates an astral body.
You have to do things in order RR.
First an essence is created in the sun, and it comes to the earth and finds two people and causes them to have sex so that it can live in the fetus that results. The fetus lives in the world of the womb while it becomes a new body capable of living in the world of the biosphere. When the body is fulyl capable of leaving the world of the womb and can exist in the world of the biosphere something happens that we call birth. After the essence/child has reached the age of 7 the essence discovers it can not survive with out a personality and begins to compensate for what it believes are the weaknesses of the essence. No one remembers doing this compensation.
And then you die. That is called the terror of the situation.
Of course it does not have to end like that. With the help of special schools the personality can be made submissive to the essence and essence can grow and evolve such that a new body begins to form around it, while it is still attached to the physical body it is walking around in on the surface of the planet earth. This new body of attention is what is capable of surviving the death of the planetary physical body but only within the confines of the solar system AKA the Astral Plane.
After the Astral body has fully formed an additional body begins to form around it, a Soul body which is not restricted to life within this solar system but is immortal within the whole entire Universe.
If you want to survive outside the womb, you need a body that can survive in the biosphere, Nature gives you this. If you want to survive the death of your planetary body and have something survive that can live in the solar system you need a body that can survive outside the biosphere and that is an essence body or an astral body. If you want to reach your full potential and live beyond the confines of the solar system you will need to create a soul body for yourself.
If someone has a soul body you can see it under certain conditions, it is like a halo or a glow around the head of the person in possession of such a body.
I know someone who has a soul body and I have seen his soul.
Also I want to make clear that I wrote that with out correcting certain assumptions you have about what you are and how your internal life works.
So put that in your pipe and smoke it.
Uhhhh

Free will? Does a dunce have the free will to not do stupid things? Did a pedophile choose to be sexually aroused by little children? Did the sociopath choose to be born with zero moral sense? What behavior would god expect out of a pedophile or a sociopath? Free will explains nothing you clown. All sin is on your creator god - were he to exist. The only reason there is sin is because your "god" created imperfect morally challenged humans.
