<quoted text>Really? So the writer of the quran had to choose between that complete non description of the developmental process or between writing millions of pages? It is very feasible that a god could have inspired a concise, correct explanation. But he didn't. At all.
hahah, no not million pages to explain those specific verses, but to explain every verse in Quran.

Yo, back off Sharkey...... Are you saying that Alan is gay and I was having fun at his expense?
You've been pissed off at me for a while and called me all kinds of names and I've continued to be civil to you.
You've at times been critical of other posters and called them names and yet I've said nothing to you. I've never called you a hypocrite.
So what gives? Do different rules apply to you?
Tell the truth here, Al.

Are you trying to imply that Alan was gay so that you COULD have fun at his expense, which would be against your oh-so-holy tenets?

Did it feel that good to be "part of a clique" "one of the guys" so you could so easily brush aside your "morals" to put people down?

Do different rules apply to YOU as well?

Do you get approval from other Christians for having fun at the gays' expense by taking something someone said out of context to imply that they personally ARE gay, so therefore God must approve of your hate too because "your god hates(insert who I hate here) too?

Don't sit here and BS people and act like some sort of victim while YOU practice double standards. You are just another phony not doing a good job of proving the existence of a god.

SMH. Disappointing to see your holy charade come off, but it was well expected.

Who do you think he's referring to?
If I talked about that guy, who's in charge of the US, that's the first of his kind, that led a charge for a new insurance plan, etc would you not think I am referring to Obama?!
there have been many who claimed to be the christ. Most were not made-up like the jesus of Nicaea.

But that doesn't change the fact that NPR claims to be a proponent of "free speech" only when it suits their purposes.

Only when it's "politically correct."
Totally. Pinkos taking away our right to be racist dumbasses.

Wow!

Your deity is as useless and stupid as the other Jesus cults.

The real Creator of the Universe doesn't need a Muhammad or magic book.

You are an incredibly hateful liberal.
<quoted text>
It always did with NPR/Pacifica. Hell, they were "proud" of their "diversity of opinions."
First of all, "reflecting fear/voicing concerns" does not give him a pass. That's like saying it'd be ok for someone to say they're scared of all white people because far right militias exist. You seem to think that if people agree with a statement, that makes it ok.

Not according to NPR. They claim that they had a policy against racism that he violated. Do you have any proof/examples to contradict this? For example, is there an instance of one of their people saying something very inflammatory and racist on another show that did not end with a termination? If so, I will agree that they were wrong to fire him, if it was actually existing policy to let racism slide.

<quoted text>That is what the verses said, yes.
Therefore, that is what I concluded from the verses.
I thought you said that this Quran of yours had scientifically-proven aspects to it? This whole "blood-clot monster" scenario you have proposed completely disagrees with what has been scientifically proven to occur.
<quoted text>So, you are telling me that to understand the Quran one needs to watch a Youtube video?
How in the world did people understand the Quran before the advent of Youtube?
Are you having troubles tackling your crusade to present the Quran as a scientifically-accurate book? It sure seems you are. Have you ever considered that maybe you are just gullible?
Nevertheless, good luck to you. I await the next silliness you'll manage to come up with. You might try a different angle than the one you are currently pursuing.
Like elves, for instance...
you are twisting words, maybe you forgot what we did last time, I suggested to put some verses without any explanation and make you guys explain the verses on your own, so nobody can come up and say I added facts, it turned out to be a huge mistake , I totally admit it was my fault because non of you guys could explain those verses,
in reading Quran you should pay attention to every detail, changing one word could completely change the meaning.
hahaha elves .!! what is your story with elves ?!
what would you like to know about them ?

Sometimes it can help, to a point. Other times not so much. And controls are used in trials precisely because actual medicine *outperforms* the placebo effect - the experimental results must exceed the control results for it to be deemed effective.

Also, many cultures and traditions have professed the efficacy of "mind over matter," so to speak. Buddhism is a well known example. So Christianity isn't unique in that regard, and jesus spoke more in terms of belief causing god to heal you, as opposed to belief itself healing you.

Also, I believe he was fired in 2010, long after the most rabid islamophobia had died down. So there goes your bandwagon appeal.

By the way, after looking farther into it, it seems some context is necessary. He was still an idiot to make such an ignorant comment, but his overall point was that such irrational fears cannot be used to deny rights to muslims or to profile them. A good point that the o reilly audience *definitely* needed to hear, however, he could have framed it in a less personal way. "Some people" instead of "I" am afraid of muslims. It just makes him look stupid, and it denigrates and personally offends an entire ethnicity because of the actions of a few zealots. I mean - there are some christians out there that are *nuts,* but I don't get scared every time I see someone wearing a cross, because I'm not brain damaged.

hahah man what do you have against me ?! I certainly agree with you ,the creator doesn't need Mohammed or any books , I totally believe in what you just said and couldn't agree more , but how is it possible for humans to know the creator ?! lets assume that you and I believe in the creator then what shall we do ?! why were we created ?! what shall we do to please that creator and/or have a relationship with him for instance ??!

I like your Nickname "BenAdam" (Ben or Bin) in Arabic means the son so that makes you the son of Adam

That's because not all people are "susceptible" to it... That's like saying hypnotism must involve magic because some people are immune to hypnotism.

When it does occur, it's purely physiological. Do you have any proof that it's not?

Almost forgot; I noticed how you *still* ignore the rest of:
Gimme money.
Socialism is good, you say? Then redistribute some of your wealth my way. I want a new car and a new stereo, and I need new health care since my boss can't afford it and had to cut me to 30 hours a week. Now I'm forced to buy something that I can't even access over the internet, and if I don't buy it I'll be punished.
As someone who's being forced into socialism, I'm entitled to some of your money.
Now, gimme.
<quoted text>
I said, gimme money. I'm entitled to it. Redistribute some of your wealth my way, because I'm entitled to it and I need it. I can't even afford my own health insurance, thanks to your buddy Nobama; now, live up to your socialist standard and gimme your money.
<end quote>
What are you waiting for?
<quoted text>
Yes, I do. You're the one who believes in socialism, redistribution of the wealth, and government control of all health care--as long as you benefit from it. Now, live up to the standard you would impose on the rest of us, and gimme money. I'm a witch, so that makes me a minority. So I'm entitled. Gimme. If you don't, you're a religious bigot.
You're just being childish.*Everyone* in america benefits or has benefited from redistribution of wealth. If you don't think so, stop using *all* public services. No school, no police, no fire dept, no roads, etc. Also, breathe car exhaust for an hour each day to simulate the effect of losing the EPA. Do I need to go on?

Also - the government isn't controlling all healthcare even a little bit. Where do you get this stuff?
