Some insights there. Not that Topix atheists would see them.
I saw jesus the other day on my shower curtain. And a ghost in the steam!

You are incorrect.
Again
You said "Any god that callously afflicts children with diseases like leukemia is not good."
That is an acknowledgment of God's existence, whether you like it or not.
Exactly. I need you to come join me in the harry potter forums. I'm all like "guys, if you don't offer a disclaimer each time you talk about harry potter that he is in fact a fictional character, it means you think he's real." I'm not too popular over there.

It says; "The Lord is good to all; he has compassion on all he has made."
You changed it to omnibenevolent to suit your argument.
Intellectual dishonesty fallacy.
Pedantry. RR, you weren't always a pedant. What happened? Is there much of a difference between "good to all" and "omnibenevolent?"

Also, whether or not you personally believe that your god is omnibenevolent, you can't deny that omnibenevolence is certainly an attribute ascribed to god in much of christian thought.

That opinion is unfalsifiable and therefore dismissed.

On the average, people are about as intelligent as a Chinese hammer, no matter where they're from. Dumb people believe all sort of dumb things. Like these people who drank sewage water thinking it was the tears of Jesus.

Awesome.

Not so awesome - some idiots sent him death threats, and he could have gone to prison for years for blasphemy.

God is not a "genie in a bottle" that I can just show you at will.
Knowing God is between you and God, God is not something I can demonstrate to you or show to you.
That in no way means that God isn't real. Because just as I cannot prove God to you, you cannot prove love to me.
If you disagree with that, then by all means prove that love exists.
Stunning.

Where did you ever get the idea that I wanted to hurt anyone, including animals? I'm a licensed veterinary technician, fer pete's sake!
My mom's a practising Strega, and a pediatrician; her sister is also a Strega, and she's a psychiatrist. Grandma was a pharmacist & a midwife. The entire matrilinial line of my family, for the previous eight generations, were all Strega and has been involved in medicine one way or another. My sister is an x-ray tech, and I'm the first to branch out into veterinary medicine.
And yes, we're *all* Strega. It's what we do.

He is absolutely right with that claim. It is a fact for me.
I could explain to you what it means but I don't think you are here to learn anything knew that would discredit your own ideals.

Would an atheist ever claim to have " luck on their side?"

I wonder if they could elaborate?
