Interesting thing about humans. Most of us would have done the same if we were in that position of authority, even those that bitched about it because they were inconvenienced.

You're too stupid to know that it a stylistic choice and not a grammar rule. I'm so happy that you enjoy playing the fool.

No, it's not "an atheist thing". Your semantic argument is as flat as the top of our head.

I answered your question.
Read. I dare you.

The Nazis also targeted some religious groups, for political and ideological reasons. Historian Detlef Garbe, director at the Neuengamme (Hamburg) Memorial, writing about Jehovah's Witnesses stated that "no other religious movement resisted the pressure to conform to National Socialism with comparable unanimity and steadfastness." [27] Between 2,500 and 5,000 perished in the concentration camps.[28] In addition, thousands of Christian clergy were killed by the Nazis, including some who had a Jewish background, as in the case of Edith Stein. In some countries Roman Catholic bishops and even Catholics themselves had openly protested and attacked Nazi policies. For instance, in the Netherlands and Poland, where bishops and priests had protested the deportation of Jews, the clergy was either threatened with deportation themselves and kept in custody (as in the case of German bishop Clemens von Galen), or directly deported to concentration camps (as in the cases of the Dutch Carmelite priest Titus Brandsma and Polish Fr. Maximilian Kolbe, who was later canonized). The Catholic Church was particularly suppressed in Poland: between 1939 and 1945, an estimated 3,000 members (18%) of the Polish clergy, were murdered; of these, 1,992 died in concentration camps.[29] In the annexed territory of Reichsgau Wartheland it was even more harsh: churches were systematically closed and most priests were either killed, imprisoned, or deported to the General Government. Eighty per cent of the Catholic clergy and five bishops of Warthegau were sent to concentration camps in 1939; 108 of them are regarded as blessed martyrs.[29] Religious persecution was not confined to Poland: in Dachau concentration camp alone, 2,600 Catholic priests from 24 different countries were killed.[29] Some dissenting German Protestant clergy, such as those who founded the anti-Nazi Confessing Church, were also persecuted. The Baha'i Faith, which teaches as its doctrine, the unity of humanity, was formally banned in the Third Reich.

You did not answer the question. I did not ask you if he misspoke, I asked you if you believe Obama's political speech where he said that he has visited 57 states. Did you believe that?

We despise all reverences and all the objects of reverence which are outside the pale of our own list of sacred things. And yet, with strange inconsistency, we are shocked when other people despise and defile the things which are holy to us.- Mark Twain
About the best the Bible has to offer is:

1 Peter 4:15 KJV, "But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters."

If everyone minded their own business... but who is capable of that? Certainly no Christians are. In fact they are the worst offenders.

So, did Dubya misspeak or was he just stupid?

I know something about being a government. And you've got a good one.

I promise you I will listen to what has been said here, even though I wasn't here.

We spent a lot of time talking about Africa, as we should. Africa is a nation that suffers from incredible disease.

You teach a child to read, and he or her will be able to pass a literacy test.

I am here to make an announcement that this Thursday, ticket counters and airplanes will fly out of Ronald Reagan Airport.

Tribal sovereignty means that; it's sovereign. I mean, you're a -- you've been given sovereignty, and you're viewed as a sovereign entity. And therefore the relationship between the federal government and tribes is one between sovereign entities.

You know, one of the hardest parts of my job is to connect Iraq to the war on terror.

The same folks that are bombing innocent people in Iraq were the ones who attacked us in America on September the 11th.

I'm the commander -- see, I don't need to explain -- I do not need to explain why I say things. That's the interesting thing about being president.

Oh, no, we're not going to have any casualties.

I think I was unprepared for war.

I know how hard it is for you to put food on your family.

Do you have blacks, too?

I know the human being and fish can coexist peacefully.

They misunderestimated me

Families is where our nation finds hope, where wings take dream.

See, in my line of work you got to keep repeating things over and over and over again for the truth to sink in, to kind of catapult the propaganda.

People say, how can I help on this war against terror? How can I fight evil? You can do so by mentoring a child; by going into a shut-in's house and say I love you.

I wish you'd have given me this written question ahead of time so I could plan for it...I'm sure something will pop into my head here in the midst of this press conference, with all the pressure of trying to come up with answer, but it hadn't yet...I don't want to sound like I have made no mistakes. I'm confident I have. I just haven't -- you just put me under the spot here, and maybe I'm not as quick on my feet as I should be in coming up with one.

Goodbye from the world's biggest polluter.

The British government has learned that Saddam Hussein recently sought significant quantities of uranium from Africa.

The most important thing is for us to find Osama bin Laden. It is our number one priority and we will not rest until we find him.

I don't know where bin Laden is. I have no idea and really don't care. It's not that important. It's not our priority.

Can we win? I don't think you can win it.

Major combat operations in Iraq have ended. In the battle of Iraq, the United States and our allies have prevailed.

We found the weapons of mass destruction. We found biological laboratories ... And we'll find more weapons as time goes on. But for those who say we haven't found the banned manufacturing devices or banned weapons, they're wrong, we found them.

Those weapons of mass destruction have got to be somewhere.

I'll be long gone before some smart person ever figures out what happened inside this Oval Office.

Rarely is the question asked: Is our children learning

The list is endless.

Nope. There may have been an itinerant priest names Jesus at the time, Jesus was as common then and there as it is in Guadalajara today, but there is zero evidence of any supernatural manifestations. Fail.

Thanks for telling us about God. Here is something the Bible tells us about God:

GOD IS NOT OMNIPOTENT OR ALL POWERFUL: "the Lord was with Judah; And the Lord drove out the inhabitants of the mountains; but the Lord could not drive out the inhabitants of the valley, because they had chariots of iron" (Judges 1:19).

It is odd, in that people will donate $10 to tsunami victims all over the world, but in truth, we really haven't seen any promotoion to help feed the starving.

I guess some folks need to have death as the main topic before they take action.

*shrugs*

I would imagine if the Vatican archive could be converted to "cash", that alone may be able to supply the necessary funds.

Will they? Of course not. They only like to destroy other people's books and texts, and when it comes to their own, they have to maintain that they exist.

Odd priorities.
