So are we limited to posting links to arbitrary resources, or are you able to make your own argument?

Do you have any example to support your claim?

Don't you want to claim another story of a deity resurrection from a certain mythology?

You're undoubtedly the LOUDEST in the room. As I said in my previous post, you obviously lack the capacity to differentiate between Christian mythology and reality. Not surprisingly, you lack the objectivity to study the myths plagiarized by the terrestrial founders of Christianity in assembling the damn bible. You need professional de-conversion assistance, kid.
http://www.truthbeknown.com/origins.htm
Despite all of this literature continuously being cranked out and the significance of the issue, in the public at large there remains a serious lack of formal and broad education regarding religion and mythology, and most individuals are highly uninformed in this area. Concerning the issue of Christianity, for example, the majority of people are taught in most schools and churches that Jesus Christ was an actual historical figure and that the only controversy regarding him is that some people accept him as the Son of God and the Messiah, while others do not. However, whereas this is the raging debate most evident in this field today, it is not the most important. Shocking as it may seem to the general populace, the most enduring and profound controversy in this subject is whether or not a person named Jesus Christ ever really existed.
Although this debate may not be evident from publications readily found in popular bookstores, when one examines this issue closely, one will find a tremendous volume of literature that demonstrates, logically and intelligently, time and again that Jesus Christ is a mythological character along the same lines as the Greek, Roman, Egyptian, Sumerian, Phoenician, Indian or other godmen, who are all presently accepted as myths rather than historical figures. Delving deeply into this large body of work, one uncovers evidence that the Jesus character is based upon much older myths and heroes from around the globe. One discovers that this story is not, therefore, a historical representation of a Jewish rebel carpenter who had physical incarnation in the Levant 2,000 years ago. In other words, it has been demonstrated continually for centuries that this character, Jesus Christ, was invented and did not depict a real person who was either the "son of God" or was "evemeristically" made into a superhuman by enthusiastic followers.
All of this ranting is just baseless claims that you fail to provide any evidence.

Actually it isn't my argument, but know how it was put together in 325, to solidify an Empire.
All other arguments make little sense, Constantine and his supporters decided what to use to unify the Church state, and the rest as they say...is history.

If you want to argue about mythology's used to unify people, you will have to find someone else. But be aware there are two all important factors to the whole Abrahamamic derived religions.
1. There is a definitive date they were started, before this date there were other gods in mans mythology.
2. Empires use religions to further their cause, Christianity is no exception.

So, in so knowing these things , all other arguments quite literally fail to reason these two very incriminating factors.
I suggest you watch these two things to understand my POV, to which I will tell you is complicated and I do not feel the need to educate you to understand my POV but suggest you educate yourself to understand my POV.

I can agree with most of what you say here, but it was the false claims made and the refusal to back it up when called. People just repeat things they here without verifying if it is so.

This is an incredibly stupid stance you are taking. One which not only shows your disregard for any new discoveries, insight and knowledge, but your dishonesty, as well.
First, pluto is and forever will be a "planetoid". We shorted it down to "planet", and it became popular term of use. Then, as we discovered more, we saw there are other bodies too that we can label "planetoids".
But some of these bodies are small and to put them on the same status as Jupiter or Saturn would be a bit useless. So we invebted a classification system, planets and dwarf planets. There was a conference held in which three dwarf planets were discussed; Pluto, Segna and Ceres.
Now, you are trying to -and foolishly so- bring this together with your bat and bird argument. Here is why it is not apples and oranges:
1) We know a lot more about evolution, biology, zoology than we know about the solar system. We have millions more oieces of evidence and observational data.
2) No scientist in history called himself 'omnipotent' or 'omniscient'. Your Bible calls your deity almighty, and all knowing. You claim he can even see the future. So if that is true, your deity knew the exact genetics, morphology and taxonomy of both the bat and bird. Apparently, he does not. Thus he is not all knowing. Hell, all knowing? He knows less about birds than I did at 10
I have proven your deity either powerless or nonexistent, now again, proven him either dumber than a fourth grader, or nonexistent.
You know, there were actually people marching in the street demanding that Pluto remain classified as a planet, as if it makes such an enormous difference on the layman's life!

Actually the collective of science is not unlike a hive mind , it is alive by the people who practice it. It spans the language barrier and is the same here as it is there.
AKA: The speed of light in a vacuum is the same in America as it is in India, and changes in the paradigm is learned by everyone from here to there. So not identity specific to be personified, it differs from religion, because of the basic fundamentally universal methodical agreement. So the persona of science is Systematic Observational Empiricism.
If you walk into any lab filled with people doing research, that lab is not alive. It's not producing anything. People are alive and doing the work in a systematic manner.

The same can be said for a library, a grocery shop or even a strip club. The running of all such things is in fundamentally universal methodical agreement. The Chinese dude gets a boner when a woman gives him a lap dance. The African dude gets a boner the same way. We pick stuff off the shelf and pay for it the same way. We borrow and return books the same way.

It is all people doing these activities. And this is the folly of many atheists. They give undue personification to things that are inanimate. Even religion is physically just a building, and some books. And then when things screw up, they want to go around blaming religion, or blaming socialism, or capitalism or nazism, things that don't really have a face or voice, instead of just accepting responsibility that their fellow humans were just gullible and stupid in their actions.

More proof that you can not answer any of the biblical problems I post. So it is no surprise that instead you attack me.
Do you attack the mailman when he brings you a letter you do not like reading?
1 PETER 2:6 ("Wherefore also it is contained in the Scripture, Behold I lay in Zion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: And he that believeth on him shall not be confounded") versus ISAIAH 28:16 ("...therefore thus saith the Lord God, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste"). Peter twisted Isaiah 28:16 in several respects:
(a) Isaiah says, "he that believeth shall not make haste." It never uses the phrase "on him."
(b) Isaiah says "make haste" not "be confounded."
(c) Isaiah never implies the stone [which Christians think is Jesus] is "elect" or "precious."
(d) And Isaiah never implies the stone is "chief" among many.
Of course I cannot answer biblical problems. I am not a Christian. Why should I answer for a book I don't believe in?

I was just making a comment about your obsessive attitude. There's a whole other life out there dude, aside from just raving and ranting against Christians, to make your day worth living.

Of course we can.
Go for it.

P.s , you cannot add anything to this Universe. You can have different forms but these forms will have no substance what's so ever.

Hey there macafee, I'm not a creationsist. At least, not in the literal sense.
I know what it is, a change in the classification. I got it. I know that. But as a kid, I was taught it was DEFINATELY a planet.
The first time I heard there was "now" only 8 planets in our solar system, I was like O_o
Sigh. During Apartheid, the Black folk wanted Apartheid to end. They wanted a new Constitution, one that is based on a document called the Freedom Charter. Long story short, it was probably the most advanced and inclusive Bill of Rights anywhere on earth, even today.

Our Apartheid regine banned it. Called anyone in possesion of a copy a terrorist and could hold them for years without a trial.

The Freedom Charter was classified as "banned material".

Then came the 90's. Mandela came out of prison, him and FW shook hands, Apartheid ended, black majority regime took over and we won the Rugby World Cup. Freedom Charter was now our Bill of Rights.

It was reclassified as a legal document.

The charter is still the same. Not a word was changed.

I cannot see the difficulty in understanding this

That is just harnessing and optimizing teamwork, and using machines to aid. Ultimately there is no life given to science. It is people and their invented machines doing the work.
