Satan seems better equipped than god doesn't he?
I mean if god is omnipotent he could absolutely destroy satan...but he doesn't so it kind of begs the question...do they get together over a couple of whiskeys to have a laugh at the ant farm?
If god is omniscient why would he need to ask why adam and eve were suddenly wearing clothes? I mean he'd know all about the talking snake...and he would have known before it happened.
Why did he place the object of mans demise in the garden where he lived knowing (as he must have) what was going to happen?
It's all a bit 'thin' really isn't it? I mean if I stick my daughter in a situation I at least do a risk assessment first.
"What a lovely day it is. How pretty the park is today. There's a Staffordshire Bull Terrier over there and it's foaming at the mouth and obviously bothered by the heat, I'll just leave her here for a moment and go get her an ice-cream....she'll be fine"...NO! DOESN'T HAPPEN!
...and I'm neither omnipotent nor omniscient, I just seem to have the common sense that your god obviously lacks.
The story goes a garden was created. Didn't say poofed. Creation requires construction, which typically requires a framework or base of some sort to build from to support the whole thing. That would be like a house. But then you also have the energy support, like the power wires coming in and the wiring in the house. The air conditioner and lighting needs it.

Now, little Adam and Eve, don't you be sticking no fork in the outlet while I am gone, OK? You can get killed and Daddy will be sad.

Perhaps the Trees of Knowledge and Eternal Life were the power mains.

Topix atheists seem to be stuck on everything being magic and old meanie prohibitions on their playing.

But, Momma, that's where the fun is.

No.
Do you feel that your Jesus fetish is screwing up your brain and isolating you from the rest of modern society?

No.
Do crucifixes, Bibles and songs like "Onward Christian Soldiers" turn you on?
No, Playboy does.
The truth is that you don't have to be a Christian. You can recover. There is hope. Many men and woman have reclaimed their brains and walked away from the Christian lifestyle. It's not about hate, it's about hope.

True. And many atheists see the error of their ways and convert to Christianity.

You can do it, Myth.

Good question.

You would think it would be a natural path to follow for those who create things themselves.

But instead you get all of this esoteric bullshit.

Yeah, good question. Why is it poo poohed right out of hand?

Your eye interprets the photons striking the rods and cones, what you THINK you see is actually electrical signals interpreted by you brain

You do not see light

I have provided you with one (and other people with other) explanations of this

Explanations provided my universities and by NASA, not based on what you think but on scientific fact. So really we (that’s no one of any substance) give a damn what you imagine you see

I have no god so therefore no need to lie, unlike you who lies every time you open you mouth and some fool sticks there foot in it.

The day you can PROVE that I lie will be the day you pull yourself out of the gutter but guess, what, it ain’t gonna happen

<quoted text>
You are a little man, yet you wish to apply common sense to a god that can do practically anything, which life and death means nothing. God obviously knew what was going to happen, He knew Adam and Eve were going to be deceived. But why should He bother? Satan is this little rodent running around, causing some mischief. Why should He bother? He can just sit back and watch the show.
If God wants, He could rewind the clock, recreate everything, reboot the whole universe and recreate all creatures and no one would even know they had a past life.
You worry as a father for your daughter, because if that dog bites her, she'll be in pain, and maybe die. If she lives, she'll have that traumatic memory for the rest of her life. If you were God, you'll be able to heal her straight away, or let her die and just make another daughter pop out of thin air, or bring her back to life with no recollection of any dog attack or anything of her past life. Or simply just say "Bah! She was boring anyway".
The point is, you are trying to rationalize the actions or inaction of an entity that faces no consequence whatsoever, and that nothing would ever be a big deal for.
Excellent presentation.

One problem however: your "entity" is an imaginary one.

What is anew? We assume you meant a new – with a space between “a” and “new”

HaHa, what’s turnaround like?

I am eagerly waiting to see the master bators reaction to the master bators screw up?

One recommendation is to learn to spell

You could try Seolleongtang to start

Followed by something with kimchi, perhaps beef or chicken, something you are used to for a beginner

Where have you been? Freeze dried? We haven't had any colonies since 1981 (Hong Kong was hardly a colony and we gave it back when the lease was up).
How is it that the 'colonies' sill want hand outs when they were completely functional economies when we left?....Weird isn't it?
If you(and most of the countries with pretty shiittyy human rights records do) accept(and indeed expect) aid, either financial or nutritional from these evil colonials don't expect those countries to turn a blind eye to the way you treat your women and children and poor and minorities.
"Yes you colonised us, the trains ran on time, the water was clean, the food grew in abundance and we had an economic surplus...NOW WE HAVE OUR HARD WON INDEPENDENCE....we are entitled to Robert Mugabe, Amin, Gaddafi, Charles Taylor and all of the other post colonial dictators, it is our right to be abused by a member of our own race.
...by the way....we demand money and food aid....but...you cant attach any human rights conditions because we are a sovereign nation"
I really wish all those colonies were independent in fact rather than in name and we wouldn't need to keep them afloat.
You wanted independence...have it!
<sigh> Well, this is quite unexpected. Perhaps there are one two far right genes in your see of far left genes.

If that is going to be your attitude, then you might as well come here to South Africa and join the AWB, or maybe go join the Zionists.

Do not be fooled into thinking that a few roads and railways and some fancy victorian style government offices negates the fact that the British did far more plundering of their colonies than development and maintenance of financial equality. The ones in charge stole as much as they could, took control of the resources as much as they could and then finally gave the colonies back to their people. Of course they wouldn't be able to run it. The people only govern the lands now. Former colonialist enterprises still control the money in many countries today, especially in the middle east and Africa.

I know how these characters work because the Apartheid government did the same thing. They stole as much they could, took control of the key resources, and finally when the country was neck deep in debt and the investors were pulling out completely, then they gave the country to Mandela. And now some of these bigots sit back and say to themselves "See! Blacks are useless at running the country! They'll always need us!" and you colonialists sing the same song "What would they do if not for our charity hey?". You not giving charity. You giving stolen money back. Even the Italian government admitted to this.

You think Gadafi, Mugabe, and Idi Amin were so bad and useless. Gadafi siezed the oil in Libya and you think he is so bad, he usurped the oil from the white man! I don't like Mugabe and his idiotic policies, but by the time the colonialists left Zimbabwe, they had full control of the resources and black rule meant nothing. Some white farmers were owning farmland bigger than some European countries. So Mugabe usurped it all and gave it to his people. That's why they like him. Idi Amin wanted the Indians to stay in Uganda, become citizens and help build the country. But the Indians were interested in getting UK citizenship, and they were taking the wealth out of the country to live a lavish life in the UK. So Idi Amin kicked them out. He kept the Ismaili Muslims because they were willing to develop Uganda and keep the wealth in the country.

So don't come with that nonsense about roads and rail and handouts. Look where the money and resources is flowing, then talk about colonialism.

Atheism has had thousands of years and countless generations to get inflated. Never seems to get started very well.

Maybe it has too many holes in it.
