I have accepted payment in used cars, perishable items, durable goods, even i.o.u.'s.

Sometimes folks lack liquidity.

I'll take the eggs, so long as they aren't scrambled.

Demonstrate faith?!
O_o
Please, explain how one could demonstrate faith....
Considering you can't demonstrate love, THIS outta be good...
It's pretty simple, James 2:18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.

James also say's, Faith "without" works is dead.

Faith and the fruits of the Spirit, go hand in hand..

Not everyone who says to Me,“Lord, Lord,” will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but only he who does the will of My Father Who is in Heaven. Many will say to Me on that day,“Lord, Lord did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?” Then I will tell them plainly,“I never knew you. Away from Me, you evildoers!”(Matthew 7:21-23)

As the saying goes, if ya gonna talk the talk, you better walk the walk..

I understand that, and very good post by the way.

The point was not how does one practice faith, the point was - how does a person demonstrate the feeling of faith to another.

And what pray tell have I posted would lead you to come to that conclusion?
Taken in the context of what I was commenting on my post is perfectly clear. Myth makes absurd posts about IQ and intellect. I offer up a guy who is brilliant but does not agree with him and I get the silly appeal to authority posts. You all need to correct your guy Myth not me for pointing out the absurdity of his postings.
Aren't you a creationist? That's what would lead me to think that. Do you accept that we are products of evolution or do you think that jeebus made us?

And offering up a brilliant creationist as proof of creationism is the definition of an appeal to authority. That you can be smart and believe dumb things is not news. Again, no matter how smart someone may be, we are all working with the same human brain - all prone to the same shortcomings.

I don't even know who myth is or what he posts about.

<quoted text> OK, SaidI this is for you too.
Imagine the Universe with no atoms, what would we have? Would we have nothing or would nothing be an illusion.
Now as One the Universe cannot grow, it is void of attraction , it has no emotional bond as One. Emotion being energy in motion is what the Universe needs to expand, if not it will eventually collapse in on itself.
So here we have pure non destructive energy creating an illusion for itself to arise emotions. Yes life can be a bitch, that's for sure, but I'm sorry to say but it wouldn't work any other way.
Grieving is a great emotional release. The Universe loves it, we in this form don't understand what death means, that's for a very good reason.
Pure non destructive energy playing with people's emotions for it's own benefit.
Nonsense.

<quoted text>
You must be a Leo.
From your limited view of the universe you see an outward, with an apparent boundary, and then you see an inward which you derived by dissection and imagination, meaning your atoms, etc. You can't really see the inner, you just derive a mental picture of it from applying the forces you can see, in a very convoluted way. You presume your intelligence and thought to be a byproduct of those smaller thingies.
You don't really give a lot of thought to the possibility there exists an emotional or thought state down at that level. However, the same forces are at work at that level as they are at your physical level. You have atoms and particles forcing themselves on others, being attracted to each other, and all of those things you experience. But you don't see it as raping, robbing, and pillaging, as they are just components of your world.
Our scientific guess is those interactions on that level are caused by the greater overall interactions of energy and forces, our universe. The one you can't see past.
Those little atoms and thingies can't see past theirs, either.
But that doesn't stop you from picking up a fork and raping and robbing them to keep you going.
It's a perspective thing. Now, to maintain the order of our little universe we must have rules and regulations to limit that sort of stuff among ourselves. It is wrong from our point of view, but not necessarily to the end consumer of those energy transfers. It just makes for a good meal, maybe, depending on its seasoning.
You are very stupid to believe we are the end product in a universe beyond our own. Especially from a scientific viewpoint. What is called science nowadays is nothing but looking at what you think you can see and trying to put jigsaw pieces together, and not at the processes that make the pieces.
Morality is relative to where you are at. Right now you are here, so that code applies. But when you become a meal and part of a larger universe, you will have a different perspective. If you are palatable and suitable for assimilation in that larger universe. Otherwise you may be scraped into the garbage can.
Or something like that.
So many words.

Poor gods of mankind. The material they have to work with today.
Sweetheart, I went through that long discourse in an attempt to convey a message to you in a civil way, about the harvesting of souls and such by the makers of this garden you live in. Man was put here originally to till it, but he got big ideas and became meat on the table, and would have to be consumed to become part of the larger again..
The message I was trying to get through to you was you aren't going to heaven because you are too full of shit.
Now our souls are being harvested? Stop skipping your dementia medication dave.
