My argument came as someone, without knowing suggested childhood cancer and starvation as a reason there was no god. I simply stated the reasons for childhood cancers in our region - human consumption and greed. Life experiences and watching children die is not SPAM.<quoted text>So many strawmen. I'm not buying your nonsense. Once again, I am not "putting down "your imaginary friend. There is zero evidence for it. Your assertions, special pleading, and arguments from ignorance are to evidence. I can't blame something that doesn't exist, but, what you have proven is that your imaginary friend is of no significance. And, I wouldn't want you anywhere near any children.
As people we hate to think that every time we buy something, not made in America, we contribute to the exploitation of another human, even if it's a kid. That was my point. I am a kind person, with love for everyone's children, regardless of their parents, and I fight non-stop for abused children in my region.
My students know where their clothes are made and how people from those countries are exploited and abused. There may be no god, but we don't have to continue to be a world of people who do not care about how our actions and consumptions affect the rest of the people in the world. Teaching compassion does not make me unfit to be with children. But I will take your opinion into consideration. There is obviously no need for anyone in the world to care?
