I know that. They learn as they age.
But if a baby learns that by crying, mommy will do what I want (like get that favorite doll), they learn how to manipulate very quickly.
Babies are ignorant, but they sure aren't stupid.
The responsibility is entirely on the adult. It isn't initially manipulation. Not well into their childhood at least. This is where we will differ RR. I believe until well into childhood it is learned behaviour.
