Like none of them suddenly start *repeatedly* using a word they see here that you've never seen use before; ya know, like "preclude"?

That is an ancient law, provided to an ancient people. Back then, in that region, the Law of God was the same as the secular laws.
The practice of witchcraft was 'an act of rebellion' against God and was a capital crime.
When executing a witch was legal, so was punishment just for blasphemy... Do we do that anyone? Is it even considered anymore? No.
So I ask again (and I don't expect a honest answer), where is it written that -----> I <----- am commanded to kill a witch?
You're really going to propose presentism re the Bible? Bwahahahahahaha.

Who makes the distinction between which laws are ancient and which are not? I say the commandment "thou shall not kill" is not meant for us, it was meant for an ancient people.

RR, you know there's no such thing as witches, right?

Ok.
Julius Caesar didn't exist.
Santa don't exist? Who the hell..? I... Yes he does! Now smart phones, they don't exist.

Sorry, you can't pretzel logic your way with me. You don't have the skills or the stones. This beautiful woman is way smarter than you.
Yeah, so "beautiful" and "smarter" as to argue about who used what word first for at least the next 2 months.

Where is it commanded that *you* do anything? The bible was not written yesterday, nor is it directly addressed to you. Everything in it is addressed to an ancient, backwards, superstitious people - modern christians simply pick out the pieces they like and discard the pieces they dislike. It's not like the commandments/stories are prefaced with either "this one is totes for the future, you guys," or "forget about this one in 100 years everyone."

What are you even getting at? Are you really suggesting that I learned the word "preclude" on topix? And if so, so what? Do you think preclude is a big word?

More irony meter destruction.

"People who demand proof that the car they are about to purchase is worth the investment are people who choose to remain stupid."

"People who demand proof of their surgeon's competence are people who choose to remain stupid".

"People who demand proof of President Obama's birth certificate are people who choose to remain stupid."

Wait, that last one is true. Haha.

if/when the new world order humanist/socialist/atheist/pag an agenda declares "suffer not a Jew or Christian to live", where will YOU stand?
Seriously.

These are the same radical asshats who hang on every word that Sam Harris writes; the same Sam Harris who wants to make it legal to chemically, surgically or genetically lobotomize the free will out of any person who has religious thoughts. Well, not "any" persons; apparently he thinks its up to him to decide which religion is acceptable. Buddhism and Janism are ok but not Christianity or any other Abrahamic sect and, yet, Harris would get all self-righteously offended if you suggested that his beliefs were bigoted.

<quoted text>OMG- too funny- because I was thinking that very same thing yesterday and thought about posting to RR what you say here- that since he is not PERSONALLY addressed in the bible, it doesn't apply to him- at least in his convoluted mind.
And this despite his belief that the bible stands for ALL people and stands for ALL time.
That's the impression I was getting.

Doh!

Hey, how about one shred of anything that any gods actually exist.

That is correct, because they weren't using atheism as an excuse for their crimes, while the Christians always use their imaginary god for theirs.
Who? What Christians do that? Are you implying that all Christians act and think alike?

Can you give me ONE example of a Christian committing a crime "for God"?
Hitler was as Christian
Yes, "was". Until he renounced his Christianity (just like a lot of atheist poster have admitted to doing).
Gott mit uns! I've supplied you more than once with pictorial and historical evidence of Hitler's Christianity.
Wait, are you talking about Hitler or are you talking about the Nazis and/or Germany?
Like all other evidence, you went all "three monkey statue" on it. I won't bother again. Are you familiar with the list of books banned and burned by The Third Reich? Nope. Not The Bible. They distributed that. Origin of the Species is one. That's right.

Here is a wonderful tidbit to lay waste to your ridiculous assertion (with translation):

c) All writings that ridicule, belittle or besmirch the Christian religion and its institution, faith in God, or other things that are holy to the healthy sentiments of the Volk.
That bears repeating:

Follow the links. Those banned books are just like the lists that modern, American Christians want to ban. Fascism is in America, wrapped in a flag and carrying a cross and you, sir, are a willing, duped disciple.
Oh, you're not talking about Hitler, got it.

<quoted text>A god who is lonely isn't much of a god if a god is susceptible and vulnerable to ANY human emotion including that of loneliness.
Of course, that is the least of the frailty of the god of the bible- the god of the bible has many more emotional issues to deal with:
Anger
Wrath
Jealousy
Spitefulness
Pettiness
Being vengeful
All the things the god of the bible commands humans not to indulge in.
The god of the bible is like these examples of bad parenting:
1. Because I said so!
2. Do as I say, not as I do.
The god of the bible is quite the emotional basket case.
Very one-sided of you.

That's typical among you biblically ignorant...
