What is the difference between "Christian morality" and normal societal "morality"?

Meaning, how are the morals derived by people within Christianity different than that of non-Christians?

Ok, so that is "what YOU consider to be "ancient" many do not and that it's only your OPINION."
:)
Actually, ancient is a relative concept of measurement, one that always changes. That means you cannot believe in ancient because it is always changing.

Wait a minute. There isn't any at all???

That's not fair.

- so-called "Christians" always think their morals are better, since they came from the Bible.
- so-called "Christians" always are admonishing others for not doing the same as they
- so-called "Christians" always know what is true and what is not

Well according to these three qualifiers, are you sure you are right??

I think you are.

Since I know there is no academic consensus defining religious fanaticism, I'll take your post & wipe my ass with it.

<quoted text>Ah, you learned moving the goal posts. Very good. I am still waiting for you to describe the specific nature of your god so I can disprove it. Or, you can continue to avoid it and disprove it yourself.
Keep waiting. Because you haven't answered me yet, either.

Why do you need God's specific nature before defining Him?

Scientific circular reasoning.

Ugh...

But you are correct.

IMO, the Dark Ages is ancient.

Go.
"the pursuit of God's goodness by people 'on the way' to a city not built by human hands. It is not a precise science but the cultivation of practical wisdom that comes from diverse sources. It draws on all that is good in God's creation and among the nations. But it also acknowledges that creatures cannot attain their true end without the gift of God's own goodness."

Secular morals don't encompass any Christian morals. And vice versa.

A clear & well known Christian moral that is NOT secular is having sex outside of marriage.

There are many.

I'm not saying one is better than the other, but Christian morals and secular morals can be quite different.

You aren't right.

Unless you can find a secular moral that says you can have only one God....

Go.

Who are all these so-called "Christians" you're talking about?

I've known many & I've never known one that thinks Christian morals are "better", just different - Christian.

If this was a joke, discard this response.

You need to learn what circular reasoning means. Here's an example:

1. The bible says god exists.

2. Thus god exists.

3. Thus the bible is true.

Pointing out that something is relative, in other words subjective, is not circular.

Because nothing in science supports a "young Earth." Most of our science demonstrates 1 billion year old planet, even anthropology shows humans existed way more than 6,000 years.
Modern man (homo sapiens) are about 6000 years old. Neanderthals existed before that. The earth was renewed 42,000 years ago but is much older. The earth was also "renewed" by Noahs' flood.

We were talking about Christianity, not the human race. Dipshit.
And in terms of the scope of how old the human race is, 2,000 years ago is really not "ancient".

Hence the expressions: "the big picture" and "the grand scheme of things", dipsy doodle.

And what other beings would practice Christianity other than HUMANS?

DUH.
