The funny thing is, most schools would probably allow that.

But wear a "Jesus loves you" shirt and you get sent home.

<quoted text>No- YOU are dense! I KNOW what you're complaining about.
But your "outrage" was not intense enough for you to have taken action to put a doctor YOU thought was guilty of malpractice and misdiagnosis out of business!
So "complain" away instead of actually DOING something about it.
I know that is what you prefer since it allows for your self-inflicted persecution complex to continue to grow- just like a CANCER.
Ya, that's the answer... That's the fad....

Derp. He DID get a 2nd opinion, himself.
He knew the so-called doctor was wrong and did research himself.
The majority of doctors are incompetent idiots that are just out to make a shitload of money. Period.
LOL!! Himself? Your friend is a doctor??

He knew the so-called doctor was wrong but allowed himself to be treated by him anyway?

Or did he do his research AFTER the fact which would be akin to closing the barn door AFTER the horse escapes.....

You are SO wrong. The majority of doctors are NOT incompetent idiots, RR- you make the most moronic blanket stereotype statements made worse by the fact that you don't even know what you're talking about.

Period.

Sigh....wrong- AGAIN.

Look- if you honestly think the doctor or doctors who treated your MIL were incompetent and guilty of malpractice and misdiagnosis, why wouldn't you want to do everything possible to insure that the doctors could not visit that malpractice on other patients or future patients?

At the VERY least, you could have reported him to the AMA, but I know you didn't do that either.

You LIKE to play the victim and to imagine you ARE the victim of anyone and everyone you perceive of wrongdoing.

What's ironic about that is your refusal to realize that you are only a victim or YOURSELF.

And seriously, if those doctors were guilty of malpractice as you claim they were and you did NOTHING to prevent future cases of malpractice, then:

If you know of evil being done yet do nothing to stop it, you are no less evil than the evildoer.

No, RR- I guess the answer is for you to do NOTHING and to take no action to help insure that the doctors you claimed were guilty of malpractice with your MIL can go right on perpetrating that malpractice onto others....

Way to go......NOT.

You just described the majority of doctors.
Good job, your learning.
No- I did not. You take a couple of isolated instances and use those to judge thousands and thousands of doctors- the majority of whom are competent and caring health care practitioners.

Your stereotyping is SICKENING and all the more since you base it on a very few instances.

Sorry, RR- you're WRONG- again. Incompetent doctors are the EXCEPTION- not the RULE.

QH theory is a promising new start in this general direction. Its ramifications and implications are profound. For instance, because of the QH model, science can no longer ignore subjectivity, metaphysics, parapsychology, or issues previously relegated to religion or mysticism. Nor can science any longer ignore the presence or importance of consciousness or thought in its relationship to physical matter. It must consider the strong possibility that the natural and the supernatural are one and the same thing, which renders the dualistic worldview of Newton and Descartes completely obsolete.

http://www.quantrek.com/quantum_hologram/quan...

the Law of ONE

All things are one, derived from the same single original source, inextricably interconnected non-locally throughout the entire universe;

All things are aspects of one grand unified whole, joined energetically at the quantum level, woven together through resonant energy connections within an underlying enfolded realm known as the zero-point field;

The un-manifested enfolded order(involution, my word) of energy and information (the zero-point field), as well as the manifested realm of matter, are influenced by thought, consciousness and intention, as well as inanimate physical principles;

Thought, intention, emotion and consciousness are fundamentally quantum phenomena;
Every thing in the universe is interdependent, interconnected and interrelated;

The universe is essentially comprised of vast amounts of information, energy and empty space, with comparatively tiny amounts of matter;

The universe is self-organizing and self-learning with integral feedback loops that facilitate a complex and intricate ongoing evolutionary process;
All things are animate and have at least some level of awareness and/or consciousness — nothing is inanimate.

Through the process known as “quantum entanglement,” particles can communicate with each other instantaneously no matter where they are in the universe (non-locality). In a similar way, thought, intention and consciousness all co-mingle with and affect quantum processes; and...

The universe is essentially isomorphic, or in the words of the ancient mystics,“as above, so below”. In a universe that is interconnected and interdependent, where all things belong to a grand unified whole, quite literally then,“what one does to others, one does to oneself.”

No. When he left the hospital, he just had a gut feeling that the doc was wrong. He's in his forties, has been married for like 15 years, is loyal to his wife and age to him. He's never had any kind of herpes, neither has his wife. He knew the doc was wrong.

He was right, the doc misdiagnosed his allergic reaction with herpes.

No, actually it wouldn't bother me at all if it were true...but I highly doubt it is and when people state that it's fact that we share a common ancestor and then go on about chromosome fusing as a means to support it...well..it just gets under my skin a little. I mean do you fully understand what you claim you believe? You keep insisting we didn't descend from apes...yet the most compelling evidence that evolutionist have to date is the chromosome fusion 2 model. let me help you out....
This molecular model involves the hypothetical fusion of two small acrocentric chimpanzee-like chromosomes (2A and 2B) at some ancient point in the human evolutionary lineage. From this fusion, is where the human lineage supposedly separated from the apes and came about. If that is in fact the case, then YES, we would be the direct result of a chimpanzee...or at least chimpanzee-like chromosomes.
Don't get all frustrated for goodness sake. I'm just trying to,get a clear picture of what y'all really think here. I mean, heck, it's your belief not mine.

Nah, I don't think there's a conspiracy to promote evolution. It is what is. Darwin, a very intelligent man, threw some well thought out theories out there and many, who choose not believe in God, Allah, whatever, just latched on to the concepts. They fit for some, not for others. Let me state my position here...I believe in God...but I get why many don't. I'm simply engaging in debate. For the record, I have a great deal of respect for science, although I am very skeptical about many of the theories.

No, that simply isn't true. I actually have an education. I work in a highly uneducated, poverty stricken area of the world. I have to speak in a manner that puts myself on their level, in order to teach them how to properly care for themselves and their family members. I'll admit, my lack of use of a good vocabulary over time, because the uneducated don't understand the words, has changed the way I speak. But don't confuse my slang or inappropriate grammar as a lack of intelligence. I assure you, I'm no genius, but I'm far from uneducated. Your need to denigrate reflects your character, not my intelligence.

I've joked about it in the past, but seriously...what difference would it make if my ancestors were apes? It's not like I could be singled out as a lone ape...if it's true...we all are. My problem isn't a concern that I may come from a line of chimpanzees...it's simply that I don't personally believe we did. And if we did, then I want to know how the apes got here. That's pretty simple I think. I mean if you're gonna shove evolution done my kids throats, then at least tell them where the doggone apes came from. Don't confuse them into thinking you have it all figured out and the rest of world is idiots, when the is, you don't.

Well, I suppose the major difference here is that while y'all spend countless hours in search of the hole that the hominid didn't jump out of, I'm teaching my kids biblical principles, to love, respect, forgive...things like that. When it's all said and done, whether I'm right or wrong, I see no harm in that. But to be honest, there really is much more to it. I debate on here, but honestly, I have no hard feelings toward any of you. I can sign off here and I think about all the posters in here who don't believe, and it saddens me, because although I'm sure many of you enjoy your life, you really don't know what you're missing.:)
