<quoted text>So if someone tells you they had an individual experience with little green Martians, that is fact unless someone can disprove them?
Just what IS your take on those who HAVE reported seeing aliens, spaceships, being taken onto those spaceships, etc?
Should what they have related as THEIR personal experiences with aliens, UFOs, etc. have any less credibility than what YOU have related as YOUR personal experience with your god?
After all, the existence of extra terrestrials has NOT been disproved, RR, so I guess according to you, that makes their existence fact, right?
There's another minor flaw in his argument.

If we're to accept his "individual experiences" with his deity, we must likewise accept everyone else's with theirs.

And so must he.

Why do you cling to the negative aspects of it?
People like me, who are the mojarity of people that have been touched by God, never seek any kind of fame - never even make it public....
Then why do they keep ringin' my friggin' doorbell?

True, Constantine officially changed the Sabbath, so no more confusion.
But what did Jesus actually say about these old Jewish laws? Why was Jesus such a devout Jew, if all the laws mean nothing?
Don't forget those ancient 10 Commands either.
So silly, glad I could help with your delusion.
And, of course, if he's gonna toss Leviticus...

It's amazing how the puzzle fits, if one doesn't rely on willful ignorance to maintain one's delusion.

Ever hear of evolutionary biology?

Look it up. It's going to be a required course in medical schools within a few years. Amazing stuff.

<quoted text>Yes, dude, that's who I was talking to. It was a joke. The implication being that a "real christian," like yourself, would make themselves believe that genisis 2:1 was referring to the first law of thermodynamics. I shouldn't have had to explain that to you.

Also, I don't understand why you even think this matters. Tell me why the "earth was finished" quote has anything to do with the first law of thermodynamics. That's what the issue is here, and you're ignoring it in favor of making yourself look even less intelligent.
I understood him.

You did too, but you don't even realize it.

He was saying that I didn't get why the quote explained the first law of thermodynamics (which it doesn't) because I'm not a brain dead Christian (which I'm not).

Get it now?

<quoted text>A conclusion?

I suppose by conclusion you don't mean "the end", but rather a decision reached by reasoning. And by reasoning I assume you've thought about God's existence logically..

Yes?

You have never heard God.
You have never felt God.
Based on your posts, I assume you've never really believed God even exists.

By what reasoning or logic have you come to your conclusion that God just ain't real?

You've never tested your theory.
You've never tried.
You've never believed.
I believed as a kid.(Just like Santa)

Later, I tried to believe. I even remember seeing an article claiming somebody found a piece of Noah's ark on top of some mountain, but it turned out to be bull.

The Christian god, the one based on the bible, I ruled out pretty quick.

I tried all kinds of things. Transcendental meditation, drugs. I used to read about astral projection. Remote viewing. Telepathy. Telekinesis. Any sign of anything supernatural.

Couldn't find anything.

No voices, either.

I never asked you to accept anything, fm did I?

People ask me how I know (or believe) God is real.

I answer them.

I don't care if you believe me or not.

Nobody tossed anything.

We understand that the bible was written over a very long period of time. We also understand that it was partially written as a historical record. We also understand that the laws in Leviticus were meant for the Levites and not all of humanity.

You don't understand that.

It seems as though you were looking for a needle in a haystack.

But instead of searching the haystack, you looked in the barn...

You didn't focus anything on God.

And you only think you ruled out God (from the bible). But you're right in line with the rest of atheism: "He's not real. I know, I looked. And found nothing..."

You're no freethinker.

Just because you deny facts and evidence doesn't make you a freethinker.

In your case, it just makes you stupid.

He is a free thinker, he was free to think about school and science and chose to make every wrong decision about it. He made the choice of rejecting science and pursue religiosity .
