Really I think it starts with faith. If someone doesn't begin with it, then that person never got out of the starting gate to begin with and no amount of proof will help.
The Jewish people began with faith. For almost 1,900 years, the Jews wandered about the earth and have been persecuted from every side. This escalated in the holocaust of World War II, when six million Jews were put to death in the concentration camps.
How is it that a people that have lost their homeland many times, have been scattered to the four corners of the earth over hundreds of years and still maintain their identity? The Bible proclaimed that the nation would not perish or lose their identity. Yet here they still are. How often after leaving their homeland does a culture lose their identity? In as little as 1-5 generations, the identity is list as they are absorbed into the new culture.
Some would say that the Devine hand if God has guided these people. They have not perished. They have a nation. An entity. And a culture despite many attempts from many nations over many years of attempted destruction.
That's some kind of proof worth looking into.
True enough.

There are people who have lost their cultural roots by trying to blend in with the invaders.

<quoted text>Oh I see. You think that we and everything in this Universe is a "mistake"
Well if it was a mistake than something/ someone is liable for that "mistake"
If nothing is driving evolution than there can be no mistakes for nothing is controlling it.
Your turn.
Survival and adaptation to changing environments is driving it.

Good pull. Have you done much research in this area?
I was looking for the reason Clem would accept a theory that does not meet the standards of empirical evidence. You know, can't be falsified or observed...
Not a whole lot - but as I said, I thought the theory at least was general knowledge.

And don't pick on Clem, please - she's good people.

hhmm.....

Maybe the authors of godchecker are afraid to speak of God.

Yup..... I've heard that too. But then the million dollar question might be, Does God still help and guide his chosen people even if they are Atheist?
The bible says "no".

If you're spiritually blind, sure...
That would perhaps be true, if demonstrable - but if so, whose fault would that be?

That's good, because it cost me a pretty penny.
If I like it, I may re-peat the purchase.
Laffin.

I looked it up since, and despite a coupla acquisitions and a lapse in production, it's still an awfully good Scotch.

It's as demonstrable as the feeling of love.

At least my experience with God...

No, u r wrong!
Coz the multiverse proves that evolution can take place on its own!! We r a mistake, just like all the other universes!! There is NOTHING special about us!! If u think different, well, then u r against the science of today!!
There's no point in comparing this universe with other ones that have never been seen and nobody knows anything about.

One day I'd like to travel to those regions and learn how they produce them.

It was hard to choose. Each brand claimed they were the best; and I know price isn't always the determining factor.

I don't question that she is good people, I was trying to find someone to present an argument and not just make a claim.

No doubt many have heard the term, but not many have put in the effort to understand the concept of Quantum nonlocality or Bell's Theorem.

Thank you for your input, I will not pick on Clem.

I've been to the Highlands, but not the Islands. I'd like to go, too.

And no, price isn't everything.

But you picked what I'd call a good 'un.
