Well I know around here, alot of people like to eat the meat. We have wild game feeds, and alot of people give the meat to the food bank, and it is given to people who cant afford meat at the store.

Hunting is very important for keeping the numbers of animals, like deer, down so they dont get over populated. When there are too many dear, they get disease like wasting disease, and they die a slow and painfull death. If you ever seen a deer with it, you would be happy that they get thinned out. also the number of deer, car accidents would be alot more than they are now.
I've seen what happens in areas where hunting is forbidden.
Population explosion, starvation, ecological damage, disease - it ain't pretty.

Do I? Looks quite the opposite to me. But then, you live in a delusional world of your own making.

I heard that one of your champions of gun control--Hugo Chavez--died today. I'll bet you believe America gave him his cancer, don't you? Did you weep your little eye out when you heard about it?

<quoted text>Oh you mean THIS mathematical proof, you close-minded loud mouth?
N = R*• fp • ne • fl • fi • fc • L
where:
N = the number of civilizations in our galaxy with which communication might be possible (i.e. which are on our current past light cone);
R*= the average rate of star formation per year in our galaxy
fp = the fraction of those stars that have planets
ne = the average number of planets that can potentially support life per star that has planets
fℓ = the fraction of the above that actually go on to develop life at some point
fi = the fraction of the above that actually go on to develop intelligent life
fc = the fraction of civilizations that develop a technology that releases detectable signs of their existence into space
L = the length of time for which such civilizations release detectable signals into space
Like I said, YOU'RE not going to be able to do ANYTHING with that formula, yet it is real. You just like being a close-minded loud mouth, but while you're flapping your lips you could have been educating yourself on the subject. Imagine that. This is where you say something really ignorant to exercise your loud mouth pronouncing some excuse as to why the formula couldn't work. LOL...
None of those factors have definitive values. Drake's equation has been debunked by people far smarter than you can ever hope to be.

The odds that the milky way would produce life is 1 in 400,000,000 , at the very worst. If all galaxies have the same odds, then there should be life on at least 1 planet in each.
But if there is life in 1 planet in a million galaxies, there is still great odds there is life out there because.
There are hundreds of billions of galaxies in the universe.
So even a small chance of life , on a universal scale amounts to a large figure.
The odds currently sit at 1/?. In other words, they are undeterminable based on current knowledge.

Your "if" is not logical since it is not based facts. Your numbers are pure fantasy.

Practice of what? Owning guns, or are you referring to hunting specifically? I don't see the point of hunting, unless you just like torturing animals for fun. I mean, for the vast majority of people, if you insist on eating meat, there are plenty of markets and restaurants to accommodate that.
Wild meat is free from human induced hormones and chemicals.
But I don't get enough of it for it to matter. There is nothing worse than the torture of animals in processing plants. At least in the wild they had a while to run free, and possibly never fell as game.

Yeah the Yellowstone one has been overdue for many years now. It's going to wipe out a large amount of the country. Really sad. The one in Iceland is going to wipe out a lot of Europe. I don't even like to think about it.

Correct. The Books of Moses contain many "laws" that many so-called "Christians" say are still the "truth", when in FACT, they are just ramblings of men - during that time - to control other men and their actions.

If one is to ponder upon it - only those who do not research these laws - one will never understand that they follow false dogma.

*shrugs*

As I like to post:
"For the with eyes, should see, and those with ears should hear."
- Jesus

But will those so-called "Christians" even follow what Jesus says?

Nope.

Cheers!
