All of it, of course.

It shows no sign of design, but plenty of signs that it evolved.

Ancient man created gods by assigning human personalities to various forces of Nature in order to appeal to them for favors. Storm gods, fertility gods, sun gods, gods of hunting and of agriculture, etc. These are the original Pagan gods. And then along came abraham, and his one god cult--of which he appointed himself the leader. Just like Sun Myung Moon, Jim Jones, Marshall Applewhite, Harold Camping, David Koresh, Charles Manson, etc.
Yes, yes, yes.... I've heard all that jibber jabber before.

But stay on topic. You claimed to have personal knowledge that God is not real.

(Not religion, God)

Try to focus.

Sounds more like sour grapes. That's okay. I wouldn't stand a chance in hell of getting into UC Davis, so I didn't bother to apply. I became a tech instead, and I like my job just fine. I'm doing more than half the sh*t a vet does anyway.

Hey religitard; it's *your* buybull which claims that man was created in "God's" image. It is you and yours who claim that everything we perceive was "created," and therefore needs a creator.
Is your brother in christ BobLowBrow included or excluded?
I'm gonna go out on a limb here & say that you think "in His image" is only in reference to physical appearance...

If everything is pre-determined, then where is the free will?
RiversideRedneck wrote:
<quoted text>
What?
Just because God knows what you will do doesn't mean you don't have the choice to do what you want.
If "God" knows what I'm going to do, then that means it's pre-determined--that means, already determined. And therefore, there is no free will. Everything has already been decided for the person, whether she or he knows it or not.

Lol
I prefered "The Replacements," with Keanu Reeves & Gene Hackman. Not a *great* movie, but I think it's good enough to keep in my DVD collection.

Other "great" football movies: the original "The Longest Yard," with Burt Reynolds, and "M*A*S*H*." Although the latter isn't technically a "football" movie.

A five-year-old child working a fountain in the middle of a park to give a drink to a thirsty dog is a "crush," and not an expression of love?
Thanks for proving my point, moron.

I'll wait.
Is compassion a form of love, or not? Christians seem to have a pretty narrow definition of "love."

It is right that we should use our position as the world's only superpower to spread freedom, democracy and economic opportunity. Promoting democracy in the Middle East is also one of the best ways to ensure our victory in the war on terror.
It's not about loving war, idiot. It's about loving peace. And knowing that sometimes the only way to ensure peace is through force.
If the rulers in the Middle East would stop advocating terrorism, we'd leave them alone. But as long as they continue to kill innocent people unjustly, we'll continue to kick their ass.
Like i said before about US Democracy, freedom liberty, and individual rights had been on back burner, it just a facade, as US actions, it's not its Soul purpose.

Yep! Here's where he--I mean, that stolen bit of mythology--came from:
Adad and Marduk of Assyria, who was considered “the Word”(Logos)
Adonis, Aesculapius, Apollo (who was resurrected at the vernal equinox as the lamb), Dionysus, Heracles (you know him as Hercules) and Zeus of Greece
Alcides or Thebes, divine redeemer born of a virgin around 1200BCE
Attis of Phrygia
Baal or Bel of Babylon/Phoenicia
Buddha and Krishna of India
Dumuzi of Sumeria
Fo-hi, Lau-Kiun, Tien, and Chan-Ti of China, whose birth was attended by heavenly music, angels and shepherds
Hermes of Egypt/Greece, who was born of the Virgin Maia and called “the Logos” because he was the Messenger or Words of the Heavenly Father, Zeus
Horus, Osiris and Serapis of Egypt
Indra of Tibet/India
Ieo of China, who was “the great prophet, lawgiver and savior” with 70 disciples
Issa/Isa of Arabia, who was born of the Virgin Mary and was the “Divine Word” of the ancient Arabian Nasara/Nazarenes around 400BCE
Jao of Nepal
Jupiter/Jove of Rome
Mithra of Persia/India
Prometheus of Caucasus/Greece
Quirinius of Rome
Salivahana of southern India, who was a “divine child, born of a virgin, and was the son of a carpenter,” himself also being called “the Carpenter,” and whose name or title means “cross-borne”(“Salvation”)
Tammuz of Syria, the savior god worshiped in Jerusalem
Zalmoxis of Thrace, the savior who “promised eternal life to guests at his sacramental Las Supper. Then he went into the underworld, and rose again on the third day”
Zarathustra/Zoroaster of Persia
These are all pre-christian savior godmen who came to earth to save us from ourselves. This is not a complete list, however, but it’s a good enough start.
