It's it the history that's conjecture, it's the assumption that the stories from the Bible were plagiarized from them.
For instance, the first example was Marduk. Marduk was a god that had parents.
My God doesn't have parents. Hence the conjecture.
So your pastor says. What is "your" god's name...then maybe I might tell you who his "father" was.

See what I mean? You have NO clue about socioeconomics....surprise, surprise- NOT.

Where did I ever say or even imply that there are only rich people and ditch diggers?

NOWHERE, that's where, LIAR.

OBVIOUSLY, I KNOW there are not only rich people and ditch diggers, since I am neither.

I am not rich, but I don't dig ditches; I am simply a part of the MAJORITY of hard working, tax paying Americans who is fortunate to still have a job and who knows it and counts that as a blessing.

And if you or "Just Think" think I am about to try to educate either of you as to why not everyone has the same opportunity to succeed (or fail as the case may be), you are even more delusional than I already know you to be.

September 2001,
The Geneva Convention is absolutely clear. In a 1979 protocol relating to the "protection of victims of international armed conflicts," Article 54, it states:

"It is prohibited to attack, destroy, remove, or render useless objects indispensable to the survival of the civilian population, such as foodstuffs, crops, livestock, drinking water installations and supplies, and irrigation works, for the specific purpose of denying them for their sustenance value to the civilian population or to the adverse Party, whatever the motive, whether in order to starve out civilians, to cause them to move away, or for any other motive."

But that is precisely what the U.S. government did, with malice aforethought. It "destroyed, removed, or rendered useless" Iraq's "drinking water installations and supplies."

... Attacking the Iraqi public drinking water supply flagrantly targets civilians and is a violation of the Geneva Convention and of the fundamental laws of civilized nations."

... The United Nations has estimated that more than 500,000 Iraqi children have died as a result of sanctions, and that 5,000 Iraqi children continue to die every month for this reason

A five-year-old child working a fountain in the middle of a park to give a drink to a thirsty dog is a "crush," and not an expression of love?

ADD!

"American policymakers, setting themselves up as guardians of the world system, are more inclined than ever to simply disregard international laws and conventions if they get in the way of unrivaled military supremacy. Every instance of U.S. armed intervention ... represents a flagrant violation of regional treaties and laws, not to mention the UN Charter itself, which explicitly prohibits military attacks against sovereign nations - for example, Grenada, Nicaragua, Haiti, Panama, Serbia, and Iraq. In any event, the U.S. has consistently shown its contempt for international bodies, agreements, and procedures that might conflict with its hegemonic aspirations."

Marilyn Young, historian
The U.S. can destroy Iraq's highways, but not build its own; create the conditions for epidemic in Iraq, but not offer health care to millions of Americans. It can excoriate Iraqi treatment of the Kurdish minority, but not deal with domestic race relations; create homelessness abroad but not solve it here; keep a half million troops drug free as part of a war, but refuse to fund the treatment of millions of drug addicts at home.... We shall lose the war after we have won it.
America is a good and a great nation, founded on values of freedom, liberty and individual rights. It is right that we should use our position as the world's only superpower to spread freedom, democracy and economic opportunity. Promoting democracy in the Middle East is also one of the best ways to ensure our victory in the war on terror.

It's not about loving war, idiot. It's about loving peace. And knowing that sometimes the only way to ensure peace is through force.

If the rulers in the Middle East would stop advocating terrorism, we'd leave them alone. But as long as they continue to kill innocent people unjustly, we'll continue to kick their ass.

America is at war with enemies driven by a radical ideological hatred to destroy us and all we stand for. These terrorists weren't created by U.S. policy. They are religious zealots who will stop at nothing to further their aim of establishing a global caliphate in which individual lives have no value, women are oppressed and the only legitimate faith is a perverted version of Islam.
