Why?"
we've been born into captivity through sin; i.e., we lost our original connection to God in the garden when we made the moral decision to believe an accusation against Him and ever since we've been slaves of the kingdom of darkness.
Prove it!"
let's see if you can stop sinning and continuously thinking evil in your mind.
How do you explain that Judaism, upon which your religion is founded, has no such concept as original sin? LOL! Yeah, like you'd ever respond to an uncomfortable question about your religion directly.

But you do highlight the self-loathing obnoxiousness at the heart of Christian ideology: people are filth, literally made from dirt, and if you grovel all your life to some made-up omnipotent despot (or rather, to the human agents of said despot), you might have a shot at a glorious promise...after you are dead.It never ceases to amaze me that anyone falls for such an obvious sham.

Hukt, Your repetitive nonsense is really starting to become annoying.
I have never said that I have proof that God exists.
Actually, I've said just the opposite.
I have said repeatedly that I cannot prove to you that God exists.
I didn't think you could be that dense.
You're the one not being honest here.

You said it.

You're saying you didn't.

Get over it.

We gotta figure something out here.

We can do this, one way or another.

I don't have faith in a belief in God. I have faith in God. There is a difference. I don't expect you to understand.
Do you have a committed belief in God? I'm calling that faith.

If you also trust God, and are calling that faith too, that kind of faith is also based on a commitment to a belief in God. It would not exist without that commitment to belief in God.
RiversideRedneck wrote:
People don't stay comitted because of a verse, Tide. Tey stay comitted because of their faith. The verse is like using a roadmap to get you home. You don't sleep on the map, you sleep at home by using the map to get you there.
I told you the purpose of the verse. I didn't say that it worked in every case. There are more like it. There are more ways for faith to be bolstered. There are many pieces to the puzzle.

Some people might be influenced to stay committed because of a verse. Commitment is faith. Faith is a self justifying mechanism to maintain belief in whatever a person believes.

The verse is telling you to not look behind the curtain.
RiversideRedneck wrote:
Yes. Thank you. You don't have a clue to what real faith is, only a textbook definition. It kinda sounds like Koder trying to define what constitutes love )no offense).
I had faith before. I likely understand it better than you do because I've had a good look at it from both sides, and you've only seen it from the inside, I assume. Did you spend any years as an adult atheist?

I do. My house is sitting on two GP LAM beams.
Two? Just two? What kind of laminated beams?(GP is a manufacturer, not a type - Georgia Pacific)
Yes.
I've taken a liking to Roxul insulation though.
Good man. Roxul's a good brand with a great product. Kinda pricey, though.
I had to look up the acronym, but now that I've done that, I know what it is. Can you give me a price quote on a triple pane low E double hung 30X54? White aluminum clad wood, NC, 2X4 jamb size, with no grids? Just kidding.
Solar Heat Gain Coefficient, or just solar gain.

I can quote you that window, but I'll need more info.

Triple pane is pretty much useless except for very cold environments, noisy environments, to block out noise, such as traffic noise or if you're wanting blinds or shades built in to the window. Otherwise, it's an unneeded expense.

Which LowE do you need? LowE 272 or 366? I recommend the 366, especially in California as that's the only way you'll meet Title 24 requirements.

Aluminum clad? I assume you'll be wanting a Pella window. Great choice. Pella has been ranked #1 for 5 years running by JD Power for customer service & quality.

2X4 jamb? Does your house have 1/2" drywall or 5/8"? If it has a sheer wall, I'll need to know the thickness, usually 7/16" or 15/32". Do you have stucco or siding? Will you need brick mould added to it?

Is 30x54 your RO or FO?(size matters)
I just used up 250 ft of 14-2 and need about 20 ft more to finish. I'll probably end up buying another 250 ft roll because of the price per foot is higher for short lengths. I can always use more later.
Be careful of the load. A 14-2 can handle a 15 amp breaker which will give you 1800 watts per breaker. To put it in perspective, that's 24 75watt light bulbs. But leave a margin of safety and use far less than 24 of them.
The difference in the manufacturing process.
Well der, but you could've answered the same if I asked what's the difference between a hamburger and a dresser...
You need to be able to get your fatass out without scraping each side of the opening.
LMAO! Very succinct. But that won't impress the building inspector.
A room with a door, a closet, and a window. I think it has to be at least a certain size also.

Very good! Most people forget that a closet is needed to count a room as a bedroom. But door & window size matter. Verify with your local county building dept.
I sure would like some redwood. It is rare where I live. What's that cost a board foot?
That depends on the supplier. BlueLynx is pretty fair.
