Why is it logical to assume that science, which has no means of detecting God, can contribute any kind if supporting evidence?
Science cannot currently detect God no more than it can currently detect extraterrestrials or dark matter or black holes.
Logic would not dictate that there is no God.
Logic would be to not assume there is a god without evidence. Since there is no evidence, the sane position is that there is likely no god.

Asserting something is fact without evidence is delusion, whether it's a television soap opera, book you read, or the god you propose. Based on your description of your personal "evidence" though, I'd wager you became frightened of your own mortality and just leaped to the easiest conclusion in hopes that it was true so you could face that mortality. It's not uncommon for this to occur, the mind can create many hallucinations and delusions as a defense mechanism in such circumstances. It's not a weakness to say you don't know what happened, it's a weakness to say you do without any supporting evidence.

You are weak, so you cling to something that lacks evidence and fuel the delusion by making yourself believe it's fact in spite of all that. A weak person sees a ghost and runs screaming, a strong person sees a ghost and finds the light refracting off the moist grass then dismisses it as an optical illusion.

Yes, I've heard that assumption.
If its correct, how do you know (or why whoukd you assume) that God did not set all that in motion, then gave us the ability to learn & figure it out - to grow & become more and more "in His image"?
Do you seriously think god would be directing traffic of space rocks and debris? Godford & son space rock commodities.

Very true.
But I have empirical evidence (verifiable by observation) that God is real.
Many other people do, too.
If it was verifiable you'd be able to present it to anyone. That's what verifiable is, it means other people can test the evidence and come to the exact same conclusions as you do, and I do mean exact same conclusions.

You shouldn't talk about your ailment in such a way.
Think about it, schizophrenia is long-term mental disorder of a type involving a breakdown in the relation between thought, emotion, and behavior, leading to faulty perception, inappropriate actions and feelings, withdrawal from reality and personal relationships with fantasy.
Your fantasy is say you "know" God doesn't exist.
Your fantasy is say you "know" heaven doesn't exist.
Your fantasy is say you "know" hell doesn't exist.
Your fantasy is say you "know" Jesus didn't perform miracles.
But you don't "know" any of that, your fantasy tells you it's real.
If anything, YOU are the schizophrenic.
What you're describing above doesn't really qualify as a fantasy.

However...

Noun: fantasy
1. Imagination unrestricted by reality
2. Fiction with a large amount of imagination in it
3. Something that many people believe but is false
4. A musical composition of a free form usually incorporating several familiar themes

Verb: fantasy
1. Indulge in fantasies

Interesting, so now, when you assert that you know your deity exists or any of the above statements are made by you, such as "hell exists", "heaven exists", or, "the Jesus! performed miracles", that's just your fantasy.

Well now, according to the "heavens" doctrine in the Abrahamic code, those hypothesis' would be quite in line with revelation and supporting verses throughout the bible, and even those not included in the "accepted" version(s).

One would think that a person such as you suffering from schizophrenia would know about schizophrenia, but all you did was copy and paste.

Interesting how you edited out the "and delusion" part. What's wrong jethro, didn't want to self incriminate yourself? LOL....

You apparently do not know the meaning of the word 'fantasy'...

It has been proven that jesus is just a copied myth.

It has also been proven that hell does not exist.

Key word - PROVEN.

To ignore those facts makes you delusional. That pretty much sums it all up.

Wow, you don't even know what science is do you?

Science (from Latin scientia, meaning "knowledge") is a systematic enterprise that builds and organizes knowledge in the form of testable explanations and predictions about the universe.

Since you like wiki so much, here, this might help you to understand (although I doubt it).

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Science
Logic would not dictate that there is no God.
That is like saying that logic would not dictate that there are no pink flying elephants.

You think there just might be one hiding behind a bush somewhere.

I think that's ridiculous until you provide some credible evidence to support your theory.

You love to cuddle up with your delusion because it makes you feel all warm and fuzzy.

Faith without supporting evidence is indistinguishable from schizophrenia.

Actually you have anecdotal evidence concerning your religious experience.

The experience was only observable to you, and you arrived at a conclusion based on that, but no one else can verify what it was you experienced.

*a priori* conclusions are subservient to the conclusion; data is subservient to the conclusion. The conclusion is made, then the data or facts are observed. The facts or data are rejected or accepted based on the conclusion.

The belief that water is pure because it is bubbling out of a spring and surrounded by lush vegetation would be an *a priori* conclusion and not based on empirical evidence.

You drink the water because you decided it was pure. No verifiable and testable facts or data were needed to decide to drink the water.

I do that all the time. If I run across a "good spring", based on anecdotal evidence, I drink from it. But, I don't know for certain the water is pure.

*a posteriori* conclusions are subservient to the data; data is not subservient to conclusions. The conclusion is reached after the data or facts have been observed and evaluated. Only data or fact that can be verified are utilized in the conclusion.

Others can verify that too, using the same tests I utilized.

So, in using that method, you only drink the water from the spring after the facts have been evauluted and the water is found to be pure.

"Pure", is only determined after it's been verified(tested, boiled and a certain temperature is reached etc...). That would be *empirical evidence*.

Empirical evidence is generally accepted equally by the both theist and nontheist alike, unless religion is being discussed.

The majority of religious evidence is anecdotal, not empirical.

Your experience may be or seem empirical to you, but to all others, they must take your word for it.

Not necessarily. The officer in the center seat is in command.

It would be #1's duty to keep the captain from endangering the ship.

A crew is accustomed to its captain's orders making sense.

Yours don't. The crew became really concerned when you ordered mandatory prayer in the children's classrooms.

You're relieved of duty pending a full psychological evaluation.

Report to sickbay or I'll have security escort you there.

Make it so.

Make fun of my religion.
There's nothing funny about it. Just the opposite. It's quite sad.
Even call Jesus names.
Such as? It's you and yours that call him names (Christ, Messiah, Savior, etc.).
