It's called blind faith, and it's not logical or even sane.
Part of being logical is knowing the rules of a formal argument.

It is illogical to claim that God doesn't exist.

It is more logical to say that your opinion is that God doesn't exist.

<quoted text>Which is why it is indistinguishable from schizophrenia.
You shouldn't talk about your ailment in such a way.

Think about it, schizophrenia is long-term mental disorder of a type involving a breakdown in the relation between thought, emotion, and behavior, leading to faulty perception, inappropriate actions and feelings, withdrawal from reality and personal relationships with fantasy.

Your fantasy is say you "know" God doesn't exist.

Your fantasy is say you "know" heaven doesn't exist.

Your fantasy is say you "know" hell doesn't exist.

Your fantasy is say you "know" Jesus didn't perform miracles.

But you don't "know" any of that, your fantasy tells you it's real.

If anything, YOU are the schizophrenic.

But the watchmaker doesn't create the elements in the watch, nor dies he create the metals and glass needed to make the watch.
God created the elements & laws for those elements to create things like a watch, but God didn't make the watch.
All retrievable metals on Earth were brought here by comets and asteroids. Hardly gods job of raining metal from space, but you can think that if you want.

Well, since none of those things have any supporting evidence, it's not fantasy, it's a solid and logical conclusion.

Belief in something in spite of lacking evidence is the delusion, not dismissing that which is unsupported.

Why is it logical to assume that science, which has no means of detecting God, can contribute any kind if supporting evidence?

Science cannot currently detect God no more than it can currently detect extraterrestrials or dark matter or black holes.

Logic would not dictate that there is no God.

HA HA !!

Yes, I've heard that assumption.

If its correct, how do you know (or why whoukd you assume) that God did not set all that in motion, then gave us the ability to learn & figure it out - to grow & become more and more "in His image"?

Very true.

But I have empirical evidence (verifiable by observation) that God is real.

Many other people do, too.

Logic would not dictate that there is no God.
Logic would be to not assume there is a god without evidence. Since there is no evidence, the sane position is that there is likely no god.

Asserting something is fact without evidence is delusion, whether it's a television soap opera, book you read, or the god you propose. Based on your description of your personal "evidence" though, I'd wager you became frightened of your own mortality and just leaped to the easiest conclusion in hopes that it was true so you could face that mortality. It's not uncommon for this to occur, the mind can create many hallucinations and delusions as a defense mechanism in such circumstances. It's not a weakness to say you don't know what happened, it's a weakness to say you do without any supporting evidence.

You are weak, so you cling to something that lacks evidence and fuel the delusion by making yourself believe it's fact in spite of all that. A weak person sees a ghost and runs screaming, a strong person sees a ghost and finds the light refracting off the moist grass then dismisses it as an optical illusion.

If it was verifiable you'd be able to present it to anyone. That's what verifiable is, it means other people can test the evidence and come to the exact same conclusions as you do, and I do mean exact same conclusions.

What you're describing above doesn't really qualify as a fantasy.

However...

Noun: fantasy
1. Imagination unrestricted by reality
2. Fiction with a large amount of imagination in it
3. Something that many people believe but is false
4. A musical composition of a free form usually incorporating several familiar themes

Verb: fantasy
1. Indulge in fantasies

Interesting, so now, when you assert that you know your deity exists or any of the above statements are made by you, such as "hell exists", "heaven exists", or, "the Jesus! performed miracles", that's just your fantasy.

Well now, according to the "heavens" doctrine in the Abrahamic code, those hypothesis' would be quite in line with revelation and supporting verses throughout the bible, and even those not included in the "accepted" version(s).

Right now, at home, I'm working on a case involving a very well known actress. Can't say who. It's not big money--personal/custody/relati onship issues.
