Those children will die of cancer coz they have mutations in their genes. The universe was not created by a god, it's not perfect, life has no meaning, it's sh*t! We are just an accident, insignificant little worms on this insignificant, created by chance planet!
I agree fully with the first portion of your post.

But no, you're wrong about life having no meaning. Of course it has meaning, that's our responsibility as humans sharing space together on this earth, for whatever reason, if any. Our responsibility is to give meaning to our lives. To try to better the place where we find ourselves, for our allotted time.

As brainwashed by the state atheists are not sane.
-
Brainwashing is not, as some anti-Christian educators and students contend, the Biblical process of training our children to love and follow God. The word "brainwashing" refers to a planned, step-by-step attempt to "wash" family-taught beliefs from the minds of those who oppose government ideology. In America, it would mean replacing the old Biblical values and world view with a new way of thinking that would support a totalitarian agenda. In other words, every child must become a peace child, a willing and active servant of a new world order.

God would not allow little children to be tortured, beaten and sexually abused.
Obviously He does.
He is supposedly omnipresent, so that would mean he is right in the room when babies are beaten, molested or murdered, yet he does nothing.
If He did something everytime we break His standards, would you prefer He started with you? How bout lies? Have you ever lied? Did you get struck down? If there is no God then why is murder and child mosestation wrong if a majority in power decide this is acceptable undeer certain circumstances? By what objective basis does and atheist determine these things are wrong? They happen in nature.
If I were in the room, I would kill the perpetrator with my bare hands, risking personal injury or death to help the child, and I'm just a frail human. This is god, with magic powers and stuff, so he could eaily intervene, yet chooses not to. Yep, there's no god all right.
You do not know if God never intervenes. We are between two times. A sort of pergatory if you like where evil and its results is given a certain amount of leeway. It could be worse. In creation there was harmony with the Creator and there will be harmony again. In Christian teaching victims do not cease to exist post physical death and people who do wrong are judged. All that and more is ignored by critics.

So just any old god will do, eh? Surely you don't mean that. Don't forget, over two thirds of the world does not have a belief your deity is real. Guess what? Jenifer8 and I am a part of that two thirds.

A baby broke your deities standards? OOPs ... I forgot, your deity at times has ordered the heads of babies be smashed against rocks, my bad.

Ahhh, try to shift the focus away from your deity, well done, cowardly, but well done.

You do realize you've just equated your deity to being no different or effective than nature - sans deity - yes?

Also, if I or any other human were to sit by and watch a child be molested or abused, we'd be reviled - considered the lowest of scum - prosecuted, and placed in a prison, and rightly so.

But, you try to excuse away your deity concept/myth for that imagined behavior behavior. Shameful, lightbeamrider, shameful.

Thanks for sharing your disgusting mythological deity beliefs.

Honestly, if people would just read or listen to what a majority of Christians say about their deity or how they make excuses for it, and how many Christians conduct themselves there would be no new converts to Christianity, and current members would be leaving by the busload.

"OH" ...wait ... That IS happening.

Thanks, lightbeamrider. But, please, never become an atheist, we don't need you.
