Those don't contradict, they mirror each other. "his works" and "what he has done" are the same thing.Really?
Matthew 16:27: "For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and then He will reward each according to his works."
2 Corinthians 5:10: "For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad."
That verse isn't talking about eternal salvation, that is not God's way of salvation. That verse is about feminine hygiene, literally. And my personal favorite:
1 Timothy 2:15 "But women will be saved through childbearing--if they continue in faith, love and holiness with propriety."
Sorry women, but if you are sterile, you are SOL.
The ancient Jews were ahead of their time when it came to hygiene, especially of the jay jay.
It has to do with being saved the pain of childbirth, death if the mom and/or child during childbirth.
