Cigarettes & alcohol are both considered drugs.
But I'm still American.
Star Trek rules.
Thanks for that, RR.

But they are CONSIDERED drugs because they ARE drugs.

Just like Tylenol is CONSIDERED a drug because it IS a drug.

Just like TUMS are CONSIDERED a drug because they ARE drugs.

Just like COFFEE is CONSIDERED a drug because it IS a drug.

And before you try to argue that last fact:

"America's Number One Drug ProblemóCoffee

Caffeine is the world's most popular stimulantóthe drug that four out of five Americans take on any given day. Most of the caffeine we consume comes from coffee. "

http://amazingdiscoveries.org/H-deception-hea...

Of course, it can be rightly argued that if one drinks decaf, they are not ingesting a drug, but if one drinks regular coffee, one is drinking a liquid which contains a drug.

BTW, I'm still American too, but unlike you, I accept and acknowledge my actual ancestry and heritage, which is NOT American.

Then again, I acknowledge that because I can be just as proud to be an American as you are while still accepting and embracing my true heritage and roots.

Used too much go-go juice.

Loved it, but had ta give it up.

My Toyota was manufactured right here in the States... by Americans.

What an upside down world we live in.

Why are you ashamed of where your ancestors were from?
No, not at all. I'm proud of where they came from - America.
You are lying yet again if you are saying that ALL of your ancestors were American. That simply is not true.
Now that depends on how far back you want to dig into your ancestry, doesn't it?
Most people embrace their true heritage- there is something seriously wrong with someone who tries to deny it as you do.
Why? Why do you think it's "wrong" of me to call myself American. I see i differently than you, that's all. I've never given you shit about you thinking where your ancestors came from, why do you berate me for it?

Yep- real rational to believe that a guy was killed on a cross and then rose from the dead a few days later.
Very rational to believe that this same guy could walk on water and turn water into wine.
That's about as rational as believing that Jack had some magic beans which grew into a giant beanstalk that reached into the sky and which he climbed and then met a giant, a goose who could lay golden eggs and a magical harp.
And sorry, bub- you are NOT a Christian- that you CALL yourself one doesn't make it so any more than calling tobacco cigarettes means they aren't a drug.
You do not practice the most basic of tenets of Christianity.
So CALL yourself Christian all you like; you are no more a Christian than an anteater is a horse.

Lol. I see. I'm right so you lower me to having homophobia. Why can't you admit that you were absolutely wrong? Why can't you admit that gays have more rights than the rest of us?
This is a misunderstanding on your part.

You see - no one - has more rights than another citizen of the United States, however, many rights that the citizens of the United States enjoy, are denied to our fellow citizens in the United States.

It's when the rights of the individual, and lesser represented groups(minorities would be an applicable term) of people who, for whatever reason don't comprise the majority of of citizens, are denied a right, no matter if you don't think they deserve it, and that you still enjoy, is where people are denied rights.

This is a problem in the United States, because ultimately, it effects the rights of every citizen in a negative way.

End of story.
Correct.

Since redneck has such low comprehension skills, perhaps he will be able to understand it this way;

Tobacco contains nicotine. Nicotine is a drug. Therefore, when people smoke or chew tobacco, they are using a drug.

It's said that a nicotine habit is tougher to conquer than that of heroin.
I dunno.
It is. It really has the medical community quite stumped and many will tell you that breaking the addiction to tobacco is more difficult than breaking an addiction to heroin, cocaine and methamphetamines combined.

And, it's not the nicotine that is the truly deadly substance in tobacco- it is the tar which is but it is the nicotine that causes the addiction.

Think what you like, RR. I don't really care what you call yourself; it's just that you're dishonest and you refuse to accept facts, that's all- then again, with you, that's nothing new either.

I'd agree that it's very additive & very tough to quit.

As far as toguher to quit than heroin, I can't speak to that end.

LOL!!! Well, I guess it's true of American owned car companies too to have some parts or all parts made/assembled elsewhere- I know that a lot of cars (both American and foreign) are made/assembled in Canada and Mexico, but certainly not in JAPAN which as of yesterday, RR believed that was where the majority of Toyotas, Hondas, etc. are made.

I guess the concept of foreign owned companies on American soil is "foreign" to him- LOL!!!

But something can have that same effect and not be classed as a drug.

And no doubt sugar could be classed as a drug but I don't know if it is or not and really don't care.

If I was wrong to say sugar is not a drug, do provide info proving that and I will happily and readily admit I was wrong.
At any rate, the point was simply that tobacco and alcohol are drugs- as is coffee and so WHAT is sugar is classed as a drug as well?

YOU are the one who has issues with the fact that you do ingest drugs- I don't have an issue with the fact that I do and I doubt Hukt would have an issue with the fact that he too ingests any sort of drugs- assuming he does.
