Depends on what you are looking at, For instance how many Honda's have won or even competed in the 24 hours of Le' Mans ,
Have they produced a World class car? How many Honda powered cars won the Indianapolis ? I'm not knocking Honda they make great cars
but you mistake reputation for legendary. The Small block Chevy engine is the most all time racing engine ever produced.
It is legendary and unequaled even now. The Lingenfelter Corvette
could do 0-60 in 1.97 sec with slicks , unequaled even by the famous Bugatti Veyron , the twin turbo vettes held the fastest car in the world records before more than once. The Vector with holding top speed record of production cars etc,,,
The Japanese can compete , but do not have the history of champions
like Americans, Germans as well as the Italians do. They are making it there though, and some have been impressive. But again we talk legend vs up and coming.

Maybe it's different in Canada than in the states; forms like that here typically only ask what one's race is and not what their nationality or ethnicity is.

But china produces its own lumber, too.
Beautiful birch, almost as nice as American birch.
I'm not sure if that's anywhere close what actually happens. Those in the "know" around here say it is. If it is (or was), then it's fugged up... cheap oil is the ONLY thing that made it feasible.

Also... contrary to what most want to believe, not everything that comes out of China is of shoddy construction. They manufacture a fine product when it comes to furniture.(They also manufacture some crap. So do we).

Cars use parts made in other countries. Toyota and Honda have over 75 percent of those parts manufactured here in the states. Compared to Chrysler ( owned by Fiat?) those two Japanese companies are more red, white and blue.

Theocracy? I didn't say that our government is run by priests in the name of God... Quite the opposite.
America was founded by Christians for the free right to practice Christianity without any problems with the government.
Congress used to be held in a church, you know.
The president has his hand on the bible while swearing in.
Etc, etc, etc
America is a Christian nation.
Don't like it, of well.
You think all the Founding Fathers were Christians?

Ford didn't take a bailout you moron.
$17.4 billion for General Motors and Chrysler.
$6 billion for GMAC.
$1.5 billion for Chrysler Financial.
Ford accepted a line if credit - just in case -
Ford is in better shape than GM or Chrysler because it had already mortgaged its assets in 2006 to raise $24.5 billion. Although Ford didn't need, and didn't receive any funds, it also didn't want its competition to get the upper hand thanks to the government bailout.

I KNOW they didn't. Don't blame me because you couldn't be bothered to read the article- not even the first few lines, you buffoon.
