This isn't about human rights you idiot, how was it "fair" to put up a flat rule that says "NO SMOKING"?
That's very one-sided to be fair, don't you think?

This isn't about human rights you idiot, how was it "fair" to put up a flat rule that says "NO SHI**ING in the lunch room"?

Who's responsibility do you think that is?
Depends.

If you leave your keys in the ignition, and a 13-year-old steals your car and runs over people, yes, you could be in some trouble.

geesh that is one dumb analogy. Cars are designed for transportation, while guns are designed for killing. Now you can use guns for another purpose, target shooting. But target shooting in itself is designed to increase your skill in the principle function of the gun, to kill. To say otherwise is a gross dishonest statement.

Its like the idiots that compare gun deaths to deaths caused by automobile accidents. Then suggesting we should outlaw cars, because they kill more people than guns.

Of course these idiots overlook the one key critical fact.

People who are killed in automobile accidents are killed ACCIDENTALLY. they are not killed intentionally.

Of course there are people who are killed intentionally by a car, but those outliers are statistically insignificant.

Whereas the vast majority of people killed by guns are killed intentionally.
and 100% of those people murdered by guns, close to 10,000, are killed intentionally.

Because if the gun wasn't available in the first place, then it couldn't have been stolen. What part of that don't you understand?

Or that fat broad at work, telling me that cigarettes kill while at the sane time chorine down a whole pizza.
Or boooots, need I say more?
No matter how bad other things are, smoking cigarettes is still extremely unhealthy.

Calling people hypocrites does not defeat their arguments, if those arguments are still valid.

Why?

Did you force the kid to steal?

Did you help him run over people?

Did your keys seduce him?

You guys were outside on a hill.
Is it because you dislike the smell of his cigar?
Perhaps he disliked the look of your face.
.. again, some people have asthma, some COPD. If you light up a cigarette or cigar, you are forcing them to move ..

yes. Where have you been the last decade. More and more is coming out about how the cigarette companies knew tobacco was additive. Not only did they know it was additive, they knew just how much tar and nicotine was necessary to keep it additive and they never went below those levels. They also developed more additive strands of tobacco in places like Brazil to avoid gov't regulations and oversight.

If you really want to be enlightened about the dangers of tobacco. research what other chemicals are in cigarettes.

OK, fine.

What if someone breaks into my home & steals my gun and uses it for crime?

Would you blame me or the thief?

I understand that.

I don't understand why you'd favor the criminal...

I don't understand why you won't acknowledge that a burglar can steal anything in your home and use it as a weapon....

Chorine down a whole pizza, not familiar with that phrase.

as for pot smoking, I don't know too many people who light up a fat one in a bar and expose everybody else to second hand smoke. And the days of going to concerts with clouds of pot smoke after the first act are over, just as smoking in public places is becoming extinct.

so if I leave a loaded gun on the front stoop and its stolen, I shouldn't be liable???

how about dynamite, if I leave a couple of cases of TNT out in the front yard and some Middle Eastern terrorists steal it then blow up a building killing hundreds of Americans, I shouldn't be liable...at least according to you.

tell me where does personal responsibility come into play???
