geesh that is one dumb analogy. Cars are designed for transportation, while guns are designed for killing. Now you can use guns for another purpose, target shooting. But target shooting in itself is designed to increase your skill in the principle function of the gun, to kill. To say otherwise is a gross dishonest statement.<quoted text>
What if somebody steals your car?
Then they use that stolen vehicle to run over a couple people and kill them.
Who's responsibility do you think that is?
Its like the idiots that compare gun deaths to deaths caused by automobile accidents. Then suggesting we should outlaw cars, because they kill more people than guns.
Of course these idiots overlook the one key critical fact.
People who are killed in automobile accidents are killed ACCIDENTALLY. they are not killed intentionally.
Of course there are people who are killed intentionally by a car, but those outliers are statistically insignificant.
Whereas the vast majority of people killed by guns are killed intentionally.
and 100% of those people murdered by guns, close to 10,000, are killed intentionally.
