List of countries by firearm-related death rate
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This is a historical list of countries by firearm-related death-rate per 100,000 population in one year.
United States 10.2 3.7 6.1 0.2 0.1 2009
United Kingdom 0.25 0.04 0.17 0.01 0.02 2011
0.25 vs. 10.2 is greater? Sure.

Second, you assume way too much.
Third, you REALLY assume way too much, and in doing so underestimate who you are talking to.
Just curious, doesn't he have a cell phone?

I hope y'all understand that by overtaxing the rich will have a snowball effect and we will be the ones ultimately paying for their extra taxes.....
That's exactly what they want you to believe.

If they tax the middle class, who's going to buy their crap?

They're entitled to what they earn. And they're entitled to pay a little extra for the infrastructure that supports their businesses.

And if they weren't all psychopaths, they'd see that it's the right thing to do.

It would probably actually pay off in just the good will it would show.

Yeah. It was fun.
But I don't need one to make me feel cool.
And I've definitely got other things I's much rather spend my money on.
What is "cool" is a matter of opinion.....

What you find cool, others might find boring, and vice versa.

"But it is the naming of Britain as the most violent country in the EU that is most shocking. The analysis is based on the number of crimes per 100,000 residents.

In the UK, there are 2,034 offences per 100,000 people, way ahead of second-placed Austria with a rate of 1,677."

The U.S. has a violence rate of 466 crimes per 100,000 residents, Canada 935, Australia 92 and South Africa 1,609."

May not all include guns but you are just as dead or injured by a knife, or a bat or whatever. Point is that banning guns doesn't seem to effect the level of violence.

I disagree. Millionaires pay more each year in tax than I will make in my whole life. Each year!

If they get tax breaks, we get to buy their goods & services at lower rates.

Really.
I won't ridicule you.
I thank you for your honesty and commend you for your bravery.
I don't know if I'd call it bravery; some might consider it more like cowardice, like I was too afraid to seek out some kind of justice. There was a jock who offered to beat the first guy who assaulted me, and a neighbor also offered to break his kneecaps but I declined their "help" because I didn't want to see them get criminal records because of me. It would only have made things worse. Like it wasn't bad enough that the entire community knew what had happened. I had to weigh how much more trouble would the attacker be to everybody else's lives too. The bastard stalked me for over a year and a half after that. If he was willing to spend that much time making me fearful then there was no predicting what he might do to someone defending my "innocence" which was already basically destroyed. I felt that I'd already been vindicated enough by his public admission/bragging in the locker room at school. The coach kicked him off all the school teams he was active in. Maybe that was why he kept after me. He was furious about that. Who knows how the mind of a stalker works.

Say you owned something simple, like a big car wash facility. You charge $14.99 for a car wash. All of a sudden, your income tax goes up ten percent. Are you gonna pay it? Yup. But then you'll start charging 17.99 for a car wash to recoup your lost money.
In the end, WE will pay for the rich people's tax increase.

Tax the guy using the carwash instead.

Now he say, screw it. I'll wash my own car.

How's the carwash owner going to like that?

"Why would a Christian need a gun? God doesn't protect his own?"
Do you think God protects us from death?
Do you think we believe that?
I say it's stupid because you don't see Christians out there trying to die or not caring about dying. We wear seat belts, eat good, wear helmets on motorcycles, use safety equipment, etc.
Because you're closet atheists.
