So, you have no idea where guns were invented, by whom, and what their original purpose was. I don't think I have ever encountered more wilfully ignorant people.

What's scary is that a simple redneck like me understand the trickle down effect of the rich being rich because of the poor.
Say you owned something simple, like a big car wash facility. You charge $14.99 for a car wash. All of a sudden, your income tax goes up ten percent. Are you gonna pay it? Yup. But then you'll start charging 17.99 for a car wash to recoup your lost money.
In the end, WE will pay for the rich people's tax increase.
Trickle down doesn't work. Never has. Bush Sr called it voodoo economics until he had to suck it up for the nomination.

You can thank the State of California & local taxpayers for my education.
No, I did not know what you meant, which is why I questioned you. That you have an inability to properly articulate your thoughts in a written forum is your failure. That sentence stands on its own demerit. You owe them an apology for ripping them off. I wonder how that education was paid for.

They really have you bought and sold, don't they?
Look at the lifestyles of the 1% vs. the lifestyles of then 99%.
Who do you think is going to suffer-REALLY suffer-most?
The guy who has to cut out 1 party a year on his yacht?
Or the guy trying to make his mortgage payments and keep some decent food on the table.
You are daft beyond belief.
It's no wonder you believe the things you do.
You're missing it, man.

they're not going to miss that 1 party a year on the yacht.

They're going to raise their rates on whatever it is they sell.

WE will pay the higher rates so they don't miss that party....

Sorry, that was my bad. I thought it referred to gun-related crime, but it doesn't, so your quote was accurate, but it doesn't reflect on the subject at hand. There is more property crime (theft) in the UK than here, but far more violent crime in the US.

"In 2008 The Independent reported that there were 42 gun-related deaths in Great Britain"

42, out of a population of 60,776,238 (in 2008). How does that compare to the US, per capita? Yeah, exactly.

Yes. Thousands of rounds.
And I've never killed ANYTHING with a bullet.
Why'd you skip over that......?
How could you presume to know my mental state? How could equivocating gun ownership, with a tiny penis anger me when I have never owned not fired a gun? You are the one with the addiction, not me. Thousands of rounds speaks volumes. You have a sickness and you have admitted it is borne from a small phallus. Sucks to suck.

"Why would a Christian need a gun? God doesn't protect his own?"
Do you think God protects us from death?
Do you think we believe that?
I say it's stupid because you don't see Christians out there trying to die or not caring about dying. We wear seat belts, eat good, wear helmets on motorcycles, use safety equipment, etc.
Thank god you're an atheist. You've just proven it.

All that link does is prove that guns are the problem. Most police don't carry guns and only three were shot in 11 years.

I don't see how saying that you "believe" that a child is a life at the point of conception is a meaningful statement. How are you defining "life" in that context?

Since you think that is acceptable, then maybe you should move to Guatemala!

Not by itself perhaps, but it just makes logical sense that it does help in conjunction with other things, such as improved education, better police coverage, etc etc.
